Seven iDP7iDP Kids Transition Knee Pads for Biking and Action Sports, Black (Small 2-4)

Purchased these for my son when he started pedal biking and they are lightweight with nice cushion to protect around the elbows.

These seem to run on the smaller side. I measured my 7 year olds skinny little legs and a small should have been a good fit however we had to switch to a medium and even that will probably only last him a short period. There isn’t a lot of padding but for a small kid they should be ok for minor crashes.

I ordered these and elbow pads (same brand) for my four year old girl. They look great and will function as a knee pad......BUT... there is little to no stretch in the fabric so I don't imagine that Ill get more than a couple months of use before they are too small (its already hard to get them on). The material stretches about as much as Canvas, which is to say it doesn't. KIDS/YOUTH protection equipment should be designed to fit children and grow with them for at least one year.I wear similar knee pads while I ride and I've owned multiple pairs made by a variety of brands. All of my knee pads have very stretchy material.If my daughter had tried these on here before buying I wouldn't have purchased them. Would not purchase 7iDP again.
