These are so much better then the lancets that come with blood sugar machines! Much safer, too. I work at the hospital and love how we use one time stick needles but the brand we use at the hospital is pricey and a bit painful. I tried these due to price and how its suppose to be ouch less due to the little dots in a circle. It actually is pretty pain free! At least the initial stick is and for the price, its great!I will say that I am new to checking my own blood sugar due to low blood sugar lately so it may just be me because I am using it on myself rather then someone else but the pushing mechanism is kind of tough on this one. You have to be able to squeeze a little strong to get it to stick you so I would say it would be tough for someone with arthritis in the hand or for someone not able to coordinate their hand well.

Easy to use and handle, painless when used, good for those with fine motor movement issues or with visual problems, as it is much easier than the standard lancet and pen combo.
