Flying EagleHeel Brake Set

I took a really bad fall that busted open my lip in their F5S skates, which was totally my fault because I couldn’t control speed. So I ordered these brakes as a safety measure. I am just now trying to install them after waiting the whole day and they don’t even fit. The axle doesn’t fit in the frame and there are no instructions.

I bought this for the sake of having the option of a brake but I didn't even put it on. It didn't feel like it would even do anything. The brake pad is slick plastic, I recall my old blades having a rubber brake so I'm not sure what good a slick soft plastic brake will accomplish. Do yourself a favour and just learn how to brake without them (and how to drop if all else fails!).

I've seen the complaints about this brake set not fitting the Flying Eagle skates. It does not fit all FE skates and unfortunately the Amazon listing does tell you which ones they fit. Check the FE website for this info. This brake set will not fit F5s skates like the Eclipse and Amazon doesn't have one that does. You'll have to find online skate shop that does.
