Charles Stanley always focuses on the bible and what it says in relation to our lives. He is always encouraging, while also speaking truth, even truth that may be uncomfortable to face. He has always, in my experience, pointed to Jesus & the Bible and not to himself or other people, as where to find our strength, encouragement & inspiration. Very happy with this book. The book itself was very nice to give as a simple but thoughtful gift. My friend really likes it.

I got this for myself. And I love how it’s very simple and easy to read. And how it takes about 5 mins to read it.

The late Pastor Stanley had his struggles in life, but this devotional always guides us through adversity to see Jesus and the value we have through him.

I originally bought this book for my husband but I entered a new season and this book has been setting the tone for my day in a positive way!

Since it is written on a daily basis, beginning at the start of the year, I’m reading several days at a time to try to catch up. It reads very quickly and it’s easy to do several days at a time. Then I put it Aside and return to it later. Very inspiring.
