Fitst time using this formula of Rustoleum red oxide primer and it is excellent. Look at my heavy rust primer review. This one is about the same as the red oxide heavy rust primer. This one goes on like Grey or white rustoleum metal primer I thought. It is not thin yet not super thick. Still it is excellent and easy to use primer. Before brushing this on I thouroughly washed, cleaned, wire brushing any rust/scale off, and treated the metal surface with Ospho. I added a little flood penetrol to this primer and brushed on 2 coats with knock off soft bristle Purdy brushes. It leveled out and looked great for primer. After my primer cured I brushed on black rustoleum and it turned out beautiful. Cleaned my brushes with gasoline and low odor mineral spirits. I highly recommend this primer I was very pleased with the end result. Plus I got a nice durable affordable paint job that fit my budget.

Perfect match in color and very easy to apply

About this to repaint a small utility trailer and it did a great job. As with all paints preparation is key. But when it dried it looked great and left a shiny and durable finish.

Great match for my new-to-me project John Deere 755. I was a little disappointed it still has the old style round spray pattern button. It is very challenging to get good coverage with an old paint can. The paint went on with a consistent John Deere color green. I'm actually waiting a few hours now for it to dry. It covered well. Next time I'll likely just get a few quarts and use a cheap automotive paint gun.

Great coverage and the perfect colour I wanted for a recent project I was working on in my garden.

Just bought this haven’t had a chance to try it. I bought it from my tractor to restore it. I think it’s gonna be just perfect My only concern was when it got shipped. Two of the cans got damaged and the lid broke was a little bit disappointed about that. Haven’t tried to use them yet, but they should do what I want them to do. Looks like it’s almost the same colour too, so very happy with the colour and the price.
