Having read the listing & reviews saying the stated weights are per ankle, I was extremely disappointed when they arrived & are half the weight I expected. I wrote to the company with the attached screenshots & they ignored both of these issues. I’m a PT & DO NOT RECOMMEND these weights if you are expecting 4.5kg each.

The weights are not the same, each bag had a different weight making it impossible to know exactly how much you have on.

I have been using these as ankle weights for a couple of months with all the weights in position. They have been very useful in strengthening the muscles in my hips such that I no longer have any discomfort in my joints at night. They are comfortable to wear and stay in position. I am very pleased with them.

Great product. It's neatly stitched little pockets means easy removal of sand bags, to change overall weight is simple. Velco strap goes through metal ring to adapt to fit round your ankle / wrist. Material is soft so no irritation. Very pleased with product, ideal for my physio exercises. Recommend.

Great adjustable ankle weights, I have thin limps and the velcro is long enough to tighten the weights securely on me!

Fine for ankles, but not well designed to fit around your wrist. They are too big and can not be tightened. The seller is really trying to mislead you. The package and instructions and images in these make it very clear these are for ankle use only ! It is stated very clearly. It will not fully tighten so the weight does not remain even and is very uncomfortable. The manufacture quality is not great, I fully expect the threads to start coming loose soon, there's enough stray ones now. But hey, what do you expect from Chinese made goods?

I'm a Personal Trainer. I love these ankle weights, I've ordered two sets for two individual clients, one an elderly lady trying to strengthen her lower body and the other a stroke survivor learning to walk again. The ankle weights are so soft and fit very well around the ankle, you just might struggle to strap them up properly if the person was wearing thick trousers so in that case just put them on underneath. The best part is the option to remove individual sandbags, which are around 300g each, so you can vary the weight from 400g to 1,6kg a side. Also can use as wrist weights for upper body rehab exercises. Definitely recommend.
