3K Carbon Kevlar Fabric Cloth 50" (red)

The cloth was 'as advertised' and at a better price than I could find elsewhere. I used it on the inside of a canoe I was building and it has provided a very tough lining.

The product was delivered, when and as expected. And for anyone who wants to know if this is real kevlar/carbon fiber cloth. Carbon (the black strands conduct electricity) / Kevlar (the yellow strands do not conduct electricity) .Yes I checked for electrical continuity of the carbon. I was gonna post a video of the test, but eh I'm satisfied the black strands are carbon. That being said it can reasonably be presumed the non conductive yellow is also non-ballistics grade Kevlar.Thanks!

I got the item to size as expected. I was able to cut it with a sharp pair of scissors. It looks like when the cut it off the roll they heat seal the end so it doesn't fray prior to my cutting it. I embedded the product in epoxy resin and that seemed to go just fine.

If this is kevlar. I'm a monkeys uncle. Folded it 4 times and sewed it criss cross every 1/2 INCH. using it to make a dog toy. Took him 25 minutes to rip a hole in it.
