Tastes awesome! Now if I could only find a source for FRESH cheese curds, It would be awesome. If you have never had Poutine, You are missing out! This stuff is the next best thing to a trip to Canada for Poutine lovers in the US. But if you CAN make it to Canada, I highly recommend trying this amazing Canadian dish.

its simply the best poutine gravy , period ! take from me , a French canadien originally from the province of Quebec , i was raised on eating authentic poutine , its awesome !

Very expensive

I was born and raised in Quebec, and have been accustomed to making pouting regularly. I've often made the sauce from scratch or using the cans offered by St-Hubert. These packets, even in Quebec, tend to be less tasty than the cans (and neither beat making your own). However, I recently moved to the United States, and getting the right type of poutine sauce has been difficult. I was glad to see these gravy mixes were available to buy online, and at an okay price. Overall, these are okay, and can satisfy your poutine needs. However, they are certainly less good than when you buy them in Quebec, which was a little disappointing. I'd probably recommend them nevertheless, but I think next time I use these, I will likely modify the gravy as I prepare it.

It tasted fine a bit like regular brown gravy, slightly sweeter … But after coming back from Canada and eating original Poutine … It’s kinda difficult to get a powdered mix to taste as good. But it will do until my next vacation to Quebec.
