Advancing Your Career: Concepts of Professional Nursing

I've been an RN for 30 years. I work in the OR and ER and was in the Army Reserves Nurse Corps for 8 years. After my last deployment, I decided to take a couple years off from nursing, a well-deserved break. Well two years turned into 5 and now I have to take a refresher course to renew my license. This is the required text. Honestly expected it to be more expensive. The material is well written and organized in an excellent manner (unlike other texts that I've utilized in the past). I got it in less than 48 hours. I chose the paperback version as it's easier to write notes.

Arrived on time, but corner of back cover & quite a few pages had water damage. Didn't risk sending it back as my class was to start within a week. Obviously works fine but is defective.

It was hard to access this book even though I bought the e-textbook. It is completely ridiculous that the 'kindle version' of this book is not compatible with Kindle e-readers!!

This book is absolute torture to read. No body seriously cares about all of this repetitious nonsense.
