U better get a Jack for that Cross Bar!!!
Item deserves 5*, but I have a VERY BIG problem with the cross bar installation to say the very least!!! 1st off, that rod should be spring loaded! instead, you have a rod that is EXTREMELY HARD to install!!! One might even think (like me) that they boxed the wrong size length bar in the box. But I know that was not the case, and the rod was the part and had to be installed. I went solo on this rod for over a half hour and gave up, AND I' M A BIG N STRONG GUY! Then I got my neighbor involved to have him try n stretch the fabric n frame outwards of course, to allow the cross bar to attach. We tried n tried, n for the Love of God that rod seemed like it was nearly an inch to long to fit!So......we finally used a tiny hydraulic pump to mechanically apply pressure between the frame and force the lines wider to allow room for the crossbar to fit!So bottom line, unless the manufacturer is including a jack in the purchase to fully assemble this item, I would really like to know how other consumers got this cross bar in place. And I can forget the idea of "breaking down or collapsing" this trailer for storage, NO WAY, for I'm not going thru the migraine assembly again..........Outside of this, very durable product and expect it to last for years.

Great price Great trailer
I love this trailer. I have a queensland heeler who is 45 lbs. I'd say that's about max for the size of dog. I worked slowly with her getting used to it and we did our first 3 mile ride last Sunday and she did great. For the price it was well worth it.The only down side is the bottom is not solid and it bows. I am thinking about a piece of plywood, sanding the edges well, because my dog does not seem to like to sit down in it and I think that's why.I am very happy with it, it folds up easily so I can throw it and my bike in the back of my car and take my dog to the beach. The store I bought it from was great too! Fast turn around.

Good carrier a bit bumpy...
Our mini poodle is getting older and just can't take the longer walks by the beach. We enjoy riding our bikes a few blocks to the beach and riding along the beach paths. This is a perfect pet trailer. The only problem we had is that the ride is likely not as comfortable as our own bikes. We added a pillow and some blankets to try to make it softer but the issue is likely not just this pet trailer but might be the problem with all trailer it probably doesn't have any shock absorbers that our beach cruisers have...? I'm not a bike expert but I know our bikes ride smoother etc...

Great product!
This works great for our 2 dogs, one a 15 lb. maltipoo and the other a 4 lb maltipoo. The larger one is a little anxious, but we ride for a while, then walk for a while and he is learning to accept. Very easy to assemble, easy to connect and disconnect from the bike, easy to handle while riding. I hardly feel it while riding, even up a hill. It came in very quickly after the order, just when they said it would. The only issue is that there is a very strong chemical smell when we first got it. We opened it up and have been airing it out for the past month and it is much better, but not gone yet. Other than that, we love it!!

Great Trailer for bike rides with the critters.
I like this trailer. It is easy to assemble and easy to hook up to my bike. Both my dog and cat fit comfortably in the hut. The downside is that the sides collapse if you hit any bumps. There is no center bar to hold the hut up. It is a good idea to put a pillow in for comfort as there is no padding on the inside. Outside of that, it is a great trailer, and I highly recommend it.

Okay for the price
There is a very strong chemical smell. First ride out the left wheel caught the edge of an uneven sidewalk while transitioning from the bike path to the street. The trailer flipped on its side. Although we stopped immediately the fabric is now ripped and the frame is exposed in the front on the right side. We are going to try patching it with an old pair of jeans. The design should include some means to protect the fabric in case the trailer tips. I guess you get what you pay for.

Good quality. Easy to assemble
Good quality. Easy to assemble. We left the trailer out to air(review suggested)and it took away the strong rubber odor smell. Our doxies enjoyed it for a short ride. We need to get them used to riding in the bike trailer. One dog is a calm rider and the other isn't loving it yet! Giving them dog treats before & after the ride is very helpful.

Easy to put together and take apart to store
We wanted a way to take our two poodles with us on bike rides. I looked at baby trailers, but they are shaped for a child (L shaped), so a child can sit up. This is designed for pets. Both our dogs are small, at 5 and 7 pounds. They can stand up or lie down side by side in this one. Easy to put together and take apart to store. No issues like blown tires. Just use common sense and not over inflate. We like it.
