Small and portable. Folds simply and is comfortable. Foldable and fits well under a stroller or in a car. Compact and lightweight, easy to carry. Works great for walks when you need to sit but there's no bench nearby. Definitely recommend, though the seat area might be small for some people. Overall, a great little stool! This stool is very sturdy and lightweight. I bought it to use for gardening, since I have bad arthritis in the back and have to sit to pull weeds. It is a little low to the ground, but that is partially because I am a bit heavy and the legs sink in the soft garden soil. This is no problem for me since closer to the ground makes weed pulling easier. I use a hoe handle or something else if I need help when rising. Although I am well over the 165 lbs one poster suggested, it fits my butt ok, although I can see where a person with a really large butt MIGHT have problems with it. I have not used it for anything besides gardening yet, but I believe it would work well for anywhere you want a lightweight seat and can live without the back support. I think the idea of a carrying strap is a good one since this is much lighter than the camping chairs in canvas bags with straps, and it should be fairly simple to construct your own strap with two cheap D rings and a cloth strap or rope. Maybe the manufacturer will think to add a nice clip on strap as an accessory for a couple of bucks. As opposed to the canvas bag chairs which can hurt someone with arthritis in their back if carrying it a long distance, this could be carried on the back and hardly notice it is there. It is that light. Also, just a suggestion, but if anyone has problems with the chair sinking in soft soil, I would imagine that four jar lids could be placed upside down under the legs to distribute weight a little more and would be easy to carry also. If you routinely do that, I would even sew a little bag to snap to the rail for easy carrying. UPDATE: I have had two of these for 6+ years and they have held up well. I try not to leave them out in the weather, although I am sure I may have a few times. The material is sturdy and still holding up well. I can still sit on and use this stool and sometimes carry on road trips or anywhere I am afraid I might get tired standing in a line. It's extremely light and easy to carry.

This foldable and easy to carry very light weight folding stool is a way to go for your need. I keep one in a car for any day need on my rides out to woods and parks. Only concern if they have a nice shoulder strapz it would have been great

Good chair, lightweight and sturdy. Fabric can be torn easier than you would think tho and mine has a small 1cm diameter hole in the middle now where something must’ve scraped against it.

I've had the pleasure of using this stool before I had to repurchase it. While traveling abroad some wonderful customs agent decided it really was a great stool too since they decided to confiscate it from me as a weapon and removed it from my luggage for what I'm certain was personal use given he let 3 others with different colored stools through no problem. Guess we both like tan. Whether it's under me or that thieving customs agent it's a great stool and very comfortable. The weight limit is generous and I'm never going to break it but the customs agent on the other hand; well, all I can say is not even Coleman could warranty it from this guy's abuse. I feel bad for my old stool. Either way the construction is solid and the design is well thought out, you can attach it to a day-pack or a hiking backpack no issue, its lightweight and sturdy and great for a quick rest after a long hike or at the end of the day. I don't think I have to say I'd buy it again because I already did but if this one gets stolen, broken, or disappears in what can only be described as an act of god or a miracle I'll be back for another. It's that good.

I purchased one of these three years ago and use it constantly. But it’s starting to wear out so I wanted a replacement. Excellent as a camp stool and I also use it to sit on as I work on my RV or cars. Simple.?

Price is very high

I took this stool with me when I went on holiday to Spain ,I hoped to use it if I became too tired to stand. I never did use it although I should have and will in the future

Yes I love my new chair. I bought it to put in our RV mainly so we can sit and don't have to bend too much when hooking up the water, sewer pipes and electric cable when we go camping.

I bought as a foot stool to go with my Coleman lawn chair but think it might be a bit high-Everything is packed away so haven't tried it out yet.

It is the right height I use it to stand up.
