I bought this because I am on a crochet kick and wanted to block some projects. It’s perfect. Then I used it for wrinkled shirts, and it was easy and effective. It heats us fast. I did use distilled water, as I do in my steam iron and floor steamer. It’s a little bit too big ( in my option) to pack for travel. It does not have an automatic shut off (which I knew from the product description). For my uses, it works great.

I am very impressed with this steamer. Packed easily for a work trip and really quickly got wrinkles out of business casual summer fabrics (linen, cotton etc.) Worked well on denim and couple of poly blends so far as well.Very easy to use. Another Wirecutter recommendation win!

Good steamer, though not as hot as I would like.Takes a bit longer to get out wrinkles.The cord doesn’t always rewind on first try.Always buy Conair hair dryers, that’s way I bought this.Not disappointed, but expected more heat.I will still say a decent steamer.

This product is perfect for what I needed. Compact enough to pack in your suitcase. Heats up quickly. And my favorite feature - retractable cord. Highly recommend.

I was pleasantly surprised at how well this worked. It gets nice and steamy and I love the retractable cord.

Bought it for the wife and the first time she used it, she said it boiled the water, spit it out and got her clothes wet. I turned it on for the 2nd time and to "show her how to use it" and lo and behold, it started spitting hot water along with steam as the tank boiled the water. Water continued to boil to the point that it all it all reduced the tabk water by 2/3, at which point it was still boiling but at rhis point could try steaming a piece of clothing. As you can see in the photos, it didnt take the wrinkles out and got the garment wet. At this point we turned it off but it being so hot, it evaporated the water, leaving no water in the tank. I tried returning/exchanging but was told it didnt qualify as I missed the cut off date by 8 days. Anyone interested in buying a gently used percolator/water kettle???? Seriously, don't putchase this; someone could get seriously burnt from the hot water spitting out.

The media could not be loaded. Not even a year after I got it, it started spitting water everywhere (see video) 2nd pic shows the water level it was at so, no I didnt over full it. Up until this point, I loved it and it worked really well. I bought it having tried a friend who had one. Disappointed.

I just tried to use this, it's not working...went to look at return policy...return window expired 9 days ago!ugh
