I found this mortar and pestle when my wife's old one had broken apart. It is just as well made and detailed beautifully, and the wood will last a really long time if cared for properly. As for the size of it..... WOW! This thing is HUGE! It would be more appropriate in a diner or a cafe kitchen, or for a professional chef with many hungry people to feed! It will be kept by us, but I think it's too big for daily use in homes. A good price for the excellent quality it is.

Exactly what I purchased
Had looked long and hard for this product. So very hard to find... either they're sold out or just plain not in stock.Beautifully crafted and very large. This product came in handy while making Mofongo. And is very durable; should last a long time with care.

I have not use this product. I use this to decorate my kitchen, with other item I have, I love the look.
