Battery charged after replacement has been running for 10 hours and still showing 2 lights. Very pleased with this product, watch the video (link within paper instruction included) and work at the same pace as the instruction shown, pause the video until the next stage, it was clear, relatively easy to access all areas with a little care, even the battery clip connection was accessible enough. So good to have the JBL back again after 1 year in a cupboard - forgot how good it is. I am particularly useless at fixing stuff normally. Useful to have a larger Phillips head screwdriver than the included one, this is useful for detaching the LED’s only.

Battery works, included instructions were easy to follow. Only downside, the supplied screwdriver didn't fit, and the lever bent easily. Otherwise great, improved the life of my battery

Great product contains everything to change your JBL extreme battery. It is very easy to install it by yourself. You can easily install it with the screwdriver that comes as a gift. Its performance is no different from the original battery.

The actual battery was perfect but the tools were useless. Wrong sizes for the screwdriver any why 2 plastic levers. Don’t worry about tools, not needed to replace the battery. You can use you own easily.

Fixed my 1 year old Xtreme .. Only charged the original battery a couple of times before it was defective. This kit has been awesome - easy to fit and now the unit charges as it should - the charge LEDs went out at the end of the full charge cycle. Well pleased. Unit also now sounds like it did when it was taken out of the box. So highly recommend it.

Speaker wasn't holding charge, so got a replacement battery. Not too hard to instal, and hey presto - it's like new again !!

A friend installed the battery for me. He said it was a bit complicated but not a huge problem. Instructions came with it. Good idea. So far it works well. Battery time is about a day of listening which is reasonable. The test will be how it will last. However so far so good

The tools especially the screwdriver doesn’t fit useless.

Installed this battery in my JBL Xtreme. I was getting about 4 hours until I'd have to plug my unit in. Now with this battery I play for 4 hours and one light hasn't even gone out yet out of the five on the charge display. The screwdriver the kit comes with is only good for the small screws on the interior of the unit that holds the LED charge display to the removable part of the case. Otherwise you'll need your own Phillips screwdriver to take this unit apart even a decent size slotted to separate outer shell from the speaker case. I found the plastic prys useless. Took me about 30 minutes to replace the battery but I am a very tech-savvy person as I repair appliances for a living. It also should be noted that the OEM battery inside the JBL is wrapped in a very thin layer of foam. This is for any kind of harmonic or vibration dampening coming across the battery from sound waves. I'm not experiencing any problems yet but I did use my own foam double-sided sticky tape similar to VHB just not as strong. I'm not noticing any problems yet with the battery being not wrapped in foam but if you're picky you might want to look into a solution. Otherwise my speaker has been working great. Going on 5 hours now. Clearly the only thing I cannot speak to is the lifespan of the battery meaning how many years I will get out of it but either way for the price it's a non-issue at this point.

The battery came with nice directions on taking out the old battery and installing the new one. Not very complicated. After the new battery was installed and charged up my JBL Extreme is like new! Long lasting battery life again. Very happy with this purchase.

Excelente producto de acuerdo a descripción, lo mejor es que venia una hoja ilustrada a color con instrucciones paso a paso para cambiar la batería en una Bocina JBL Xtreme 1 - lo cual facilito realizar el cambio y quedo al 100% la batería nueva, algo importante es que esta batería es de 10,000 mHA por lo que espero rinda un poco más el tiempo de uso, muy recomendable, la entrega fue muy rápida y viene bien empacada con algunos accesorios (se va a requerir un desarmados de Cruz)...
