Very solid, nicely engineered visor from a UK company.
This is a good product. It's solid, it's well designed, it has good coverage of your face and the headband fits well on your forehead. The bottom of the visor also has a bar which strengthens it and means you can see it more clearly. You pay more for this visor, but it's worth it - don't be tempted to buy the cheaper, Chinese "beauty" alternatives. This arrived really quickly, has clear instructions and looks as if some real thought has gone into it. Well done.I've only given 4 stars for comfort as it really does dig into your forehead after a while if you have a large head like my husband... Anyway - it is wonderful to NOT have your glasses steam up, to get some fresh air and for people to be able to see your face. I work with a deaf colleague and masks are a nightmare for her. Gripes? The plastic reflects so you can get a reflection of your own chest which can be off putting if you are looking down, but that's really minor and can't be avoided if you are going to have a clear visor! Oh, and if you are my husband and try to eat crisps, you can't get them through the plastic...

The Best of the Pack
This is clearly the best there is out there. I have tried five different types of visor ranging from fit for the bin, to acceptable. Fit for the bin were tacky unusable rubbish that provided cover without any clear visibility. All reflected in the price. The acceptable showed more class in actually ensuring the protective visor provided good visibility. This is usually done by ensuring the visor came with a peel off layer protecting the visor before use. But nevertheless the visor is just a thin layer of see through plastic. This one exudes quality throughout. The visor is a thick durable clear see through plastic that comes sealed with a peel off layer on both sides. Both frame and visor are solid plastic with a rubberised adjustable band that fits on at the back to the solid plastic frame to hold it around the head. Every part of this Protector Shield can be washed/ sanitised etc. Unlike the others which have some part that is not solid enough, like an elasticated band or rubber foam raising, issues around effective sanitising. So why only four stars? Because it misses one important trick that some of the other less robust ones have. That is the ability to lift the visor while still in place round the head. Perhaps the manufacturers did not consider this a sufficiently important feature. But if this is meant to provide effective protection while out and about, the user will need to keep themselves hydrated. The point of a face shield is to protect the face which also means not touching the face without clean hands. If you need to take in liquid it would make for a much safer situation if you could raise the visor, then sanitise the hands. Take in the liquid and then put the visor back over your face without compromising the need to keep the face from contamination. That being said this still remains the best there is. And for older people who are at much greater risk from Covid 19, but who want to get out and about, this will give you the sort of protection and confidence to do this safely so long as you observe the rules of infection control and not touch your face while wearing the shield and properly sanitising it after use.

Support UK Manufacturers (at a cost)
Overall this product does what is said and I bought simply because ir was produced in the UK and not in China. However, it is an example of why foriegn goods are favoured to such an extent, because similar products are available (from China) at half the price and even less. Why are our manufacturers so uncompetitive? That said, the product comes with sensible instructions in English and whilst it is a bit if a struggle to assemble, it is modestly robust, clear and confortable to wear. However, I would reiterate a previous review that the rubber head band is too short.

Excellent product.
This product was easy to assemble and good to wear. It is deeper and wider than most other face visors so offers more protection. I have been stopped while out shopping to ask where I got it.The visor is strong and easy to clean. I bought black but I want some more so may be adventurous this time as there is a good range of colours. And of course it is British made which I was totally looking for . Five star rating.

Not impressed
Rubbish. One side of film is quite difficult to remove and the brittle plastic band just snapped in half as I was trying to fit it to the shield part. It is shown as being extra long, but is about the same length as the ordinary face shield that I already have. It looks like it would be quite uncomfortable to wear, because the band that goes across your forehead is quite hard, but of course I didn't get to try it out. In my experience the "cheap foreign made" ones are actually better, because they are more flexible, arrive already assembled, and have foam padding across the top which makes them more comfortable to wear. What an absolute waste of £10!

Comfortable to wear
Reading previous comments I was concerned about assembling the face shield due to arthritic fingers but it went together with out any problem; where I did struggle was getting the strap on. I managed one side eventually but needed help to measure it for a good fit and then to fix the ‘other end’.This face shield was replacement for a different brand of visor which was not good when it was windy, the wind got underneath and lifted it, so had to hold the visor, not really very hygienic. The weight of the plastic at the bottom makes all the difference, I have worn it on a quite windy day. It is comfortable and slips on, no fiddly elastic! Very pleased with it indeed.Cannot really assess its durability as I have not had it that long.
