You can't beat the price, but I do have problems with the keyboard from time to time. I plug into a Mac, and certain windows do not adhere to the Num Lock on this number pad, so if I'm not paying attention it will zip around the page with the PgDn and Home keys... but it works for most things I need.

I was in the middle of a work project, and the computer I was given didn't have a keypad. Not a big deal for some, but it's a pain when all you do is work numbers all day. I went to all the name-brand stores, and all they had were wireless ones starting at $40! I decided to check Amazon and found this deal! I got it the next day, and it was perfect! I plugged it in, and it works great! I saved my weekend, allowing me to work overtime and finish everything by Monday. Great deal!

If you need to use the minus sign as the first character in a cell in Excel, this keypad will not work. Excel will recognized it as F8 instead. This thing is junk.

I have one particular program I don't use very often that's a pain to use if you don't have a numeric keypad. So I bought this thing. Very cheap, as good as need, so 5 stars. But I have to mention the weird stuff. 1. The packaging shows it communicating with a wireless dongle. But there's no dongle, and of course you're not going to get a wireless device for this price. 2. There's a battery compartment. For a wired device? I'm not even going to try to open it. 3. There's an LED next to a battery icon. To show the status of the battery you don't need cuz this is a wired device? No, it's a NUM LOCK indicator. Which is a good thing to have, even if the labelling makes no sense. 4. More strange packaging: a photo inset with a 000 key. There's no 000 key on the device or any of the other photos. Fine, I didn't need one anyway. Weird, but I'd still recommend it.

I love this product. I use the number pad on my keyboard at my office all the time and I wanted that for when I work at home. This has been great. I use it every day. Its so easy to use (keys are easy to push). I don't use the other functions on it (the arrows, etc), but great features to have. Overall a great product. Would definitely recommend.
