Nice sweets

I was looking for old fashioned “Winter Warmer” sweets and stumbled across these. I was already familiar with “Uncle Joe’s Mint Balls” which are really good, so I thought I’d give these “Winter Nips” a try. These are very reminiscent of the “Winter Warmers” I remember from my youth. They are quite small for boiled sweets. They do not come individually wrapped like the mint balls. I love a good boiled sweet, and shall definitely be buying these again.

I've been getting these for a long while as that taste great and only cost £1.11 per pack. I was looking to order some more today but Amazon have put the price up over 3 times as much to £3.49. There's no justification for a price increase of over 300%. Shame on you Amazon.

If Jack Frost had a favourite sweet, this would be it. Uncle Joe’s Winter Nips are like a brisk northern breeze… but in your mouth. One minute you’re freezing, sniffling, and grumbling—the next, boom—peppermint power hits, your nose clears, and you’re walking like you’ve just scored the winning try at The Brick Stadium. No artificial nonsense, just good old-fashioned minty magic straight from Wigan. Honestly, apart from the Wigan Warriors and maybe a decent pie, these are the best thing to come out of the North. Perfect for colds, congestion, or just pretending you’re in an old Hovis advert. Bonus: the 120g bag lasts longer than a Wigan winter (almost). Pop one in, breathe deep, and feel like a minty legend.

Poor value for money - most of the weight is taken up by plastic wrappers. Very disappointing.
