I bought these to use with my gymnastic rings. They mount to my ceiling just fine however the issue is that the straps “creak” with the design of the mount. The creaking is too loud for my house. I can’t use the rings late at night without bothering my household (my ten-year-old son is asleep by nine).Just to be clear, the beams of my house aren’t creaking, it is the straps in the mount that are creaking. Pull-ups…creak, dips…creak, even a stationary hold, not moving, the swaying of my body…creak. I’m sure these have great other uses but I just can’t use them for my gymnastic rings (straps).

The description and features say it comes with self tapping screws. But it does not, it comes with self-DRILLING screws. So if you don’t have an industrial type screw drill, don’t bother buying!

The X mount i give 5 stars heavy duty, but the bolts and screws are junk- I had to go to the hardware store- there weren’t even long enough to hit a stud and I had 2 stud finders!!!!!!
