The quality is top notch except there are some air bubbles inside the epoxy coating which isn't an issue. Basically you can customize anyhting from colours to patterns, brightness, speed, everything. You may also want to use the stock scenes available. Another important thing is, you can control the strip using bluetooth if you've turned off your WiFi or lost access to it somehow. There's a separate Bluetooth version of this strip available on Amazon, but this model adds WiFi on top of that. Brightness is satisfactory, this 5m strip lights up my room just as my previous 10m rgb strip did. An issue that Indian users may face is that the power adapter has American pins so it wouldn't go into regular wall power sockets. If you've universal socket or a converter then you're good to go. Have fun.

Does exactly what it says, very easy to install, bright colours and works well with Google Home. I bought extra clips for better adhesion but it's not necessary.Unfortunately you can't cut this version of strips bit I already knew that before purchasing so it's not an issue :)

The media could not be loaded.  Absolutely obsessed with these !! I’m definitely going to order more. They’re so bright , and colourful and the settings are so amazing. I’ve bought multiple different LEDS from different company’s and yours is the best ! I finally found perfect LEDS. They stick perfect, they make any room feel comfortable and they’re so easy to set up in app and with Alexa. The mic for the LEDS are on the remote , and it’s really good at picking up the sound. I just can’t get enough of these! Thanks for an amazing product!

As soon as I connected to Bluetooth and my Wi-Fi, the app needed to update; which it did successfully to version 1.02.17 without an issue but...I have tried many times to have the Alexa app enable the Govee Home skill and as you can see from the pic I uploaded, I get that same message every time. I emailed customer support and so far nothing.I purchased these lights specifically to use with Echo and cannot connect.Before I purchased, I watched YouTube videos and now one seemed to have commented that they had issues enabling the skill but amazon reviews & Govee Home reviews the majority of reviews say the same things...Alexa App cannot enable the Govee Home skill.I will try again for the next few days and if customer service does not contact me or offer assistance, I will update my review and return the LED Strip.UPDATE 10/18/19:Govee support:1. Govee customer service has contacted me and A. Replaced the light strip since it didn’t workB. Assisted me to connect with Alexa App. To connect to and enable the skill on the Alexa App, you MUST sign OUT of the Govee Home App then enable the skill in the Alexa App. Connected right up!Back to the product review:Pro:Works great. Lights are bright.Colors are niceNeutral:Is it with the money? You need to answer that question. I say I’m paying for a device that you cannot use the main and intended function...control via Alexa/Echo. So to me it’s not. Like other have said, you can buy cheaper lights without all the app/connectivity issues and still get the same and/or maybe “better” lights...cheaper. But that if for you to decide.Con:Remember, I did the Govee app & lights update when I first connected the lights to my WiFi (cannot update the app/lights when you are only connected by Bluetooth.) the update is for the LED strip controller NOT the Govee Home App.For some reason (for me) the Govee Home app does not keep my WiFi settings. So when I do ask Echo to turn on/off/change color, she does it but the light status doesn’t change. Alwxa sees the light but cannot control it. Even logging out of the Govee Home app did not fix the issue. From my attempts:1. Must log out of Govee Home app to enable skill in Alexa App2. Govee Home App does not keep WiFi settings which prevents Alexa/Echo from controlling the lights. It seems from my attempts that the Govee Home App must have the WiFi settings for Alexa/Echo to control the lights.3. Not sure if the app does not refreshes in the background to keep the settings but mine does not and it it enabled. On my iPhone the Govee Home app is not listed in my Background Refresh Settings list. Yours might.Cinclusion:1. Govee needs to fix the issue that I and many are having to make this product work as intended and described.Of a 5 star scale I give them 3:52. Customer service has been good, not great. I gave them an additional .5 for replacing the led strip quicklyOf a 5 star scale I give them 4 other wise it would have been 3.53. This is because it was time consuming to get the skill enabled and the app does not kee WiFi settings which is the sole reason I and many others purchased this...to control via Alexa/Echo. I have many Govee lights in my home for over a year now, and give them 5 stars for several reasons.1. The light strips and bulbs are excellent. Easy to set up, strips are bright, colors are consistent. The music feature does actually work so long as you don't bury the controller. They are well made and don't feel like you will tear the LED strip with the slightest touch. Govee releases regular firmware updates which, over time, has made the lights more reliable and stable on WiFi. So long as you don't stick them to a dusty, dirty surface, the adhesive holds very firm for both the strips and the controller.2. The phone app. At first, the app was a little lacking, but Govee has continuously updated it to improve functionality and stability and it is now very good and fully functioning. It allows you to customize the lights just about anyway I can think of, control them individually or as a group (if connected to Wifi). I have read that it doesn't like iPads, but not an issue for me.3. Excellent Customer Service. One of my lights stopped connecting to WiFi. Clicked on the support link in the app and within 24hrs was connected to a tech. After a few unsuccessful attempts to reset etc, they sent a brand new replacement unit out, free of charge. Can't ask for more than that!I am sure that Phillips Hue have more accurate colors, but they are also 4 times the price. Govee lights are bright, wells made, work well, backed by good customer service and get regular updates. Great value in my view.

The media could not be loaded.  I'm not stranger to RGB strips or smart home lighting. I've used a few different products with a few different apps, including magic home and renpho smart. This is, by far, the highest quality strip I have received yet. It came water proof and ready to go, and the microphone is good and sensitive. The lights are bright and it looks like real 3m tape in the back(I'll still use some gorilla mounting tape). Linking to Google home took 30 seconds, and linking the app to the lights took about the same. Easiest set up yet. This is also the first strip capable of multiple color zones and the feature seems to work quite well. Now I just need to decide where to put them.....edit... I replaced the old dumb RGB lights on the back of my tv and slapped these back there instead. I'm very very happy with the results
