Bruno MarcMen's Classic Dress Casual Chukka Boots 2.0

I've never been a person who likes to go out of their shoe comfort zone. It's usually just a pair of Adidas Campus sneakers and a jeans. Hey, I'm a simple guy, what can I say?Well, my wife was watching Queer Eye on Netflix one day (more like binge watching) and she kept seeing them tell every guy that they needed to have a chukka desert boots in their closet as they go with almost anything. She mentioned it to me and showed me a pair that were almost $200! I told her I was good and I didn't want to spend that much money on a shoe I would probably never wear. However, I was curious to see if Amazon had them for cheaper a quick search and a few clicks later I had purchased these shoes. I'm always wary about buying shoes on the Internet because different brands and styles can be different sizes. However after reading the reviews I decided to go with and 11 as they are the same size as the Johnston and Murphy shoes that I have, but only wear with the one suite I have.When the shoes came in, I tried them on and I was instantly happy I purchased these shoes. The shoes fit true to size and are actually extremely comfortable. A good rule of thumb for choosing your size is to look at the size of a pair of dress shoes you own and order that size.I will say that there isn't much arch support but if you're flat footed like me, that's definitely a win then. If you have high arches, then you may want to purchase an insole.The shoes look great and I wear them to work all the time. I work at a college and am constantly walking across campus. These shoes stand up to the challenge so don't let the price fool you and make you think that they are going to fall apart in a day. They won't. Overall, a very good shoe. I suggest if you want to prolong her life even longer, invest in a waterproofing spray and a suede cleaning kit.If you're looking for a good shoe at a great price, these are the ones for you!Enjoy!

I have to say that I didn't have high hopes for these shoes. I bought them at the last minute for my son's school dance as we searched about 10 stores looking for a pair like this. I finally looked on Amazon and found this pair at a low cost and I could have them next day in time for the dance. Now, my son is the pickiest little turd when it comes to clothes. He thinks we are celebrities or that he is really the child of Elan Musk or something and must have been switched at birth because he only likes Yeezy's, Gucci, etc because he's a 13 year old douche. NO, it's not my fault. My other 2 older boys and exemplary young men. This one was born like this. I swear at 3 years old he was already so very EXTRA. I love him dearly though which is why I went to 10 stores looking for these damned shoes for him the night before the dance. Yep...I know I'm an enabler. Get over it and move on with the review. So I KNEW that if these shoes looked cheap, he wasn't going to wear them. Fortunately, they were very nice so that he DID wear them and I didn't have to rip his head off his his almost pubescent body. They looked great on him. They're a little big which is fine since he's growing so I can probably get another 6 months use out of them. Someone should invent shoes that stretch!!!

Being so used to sneakers, you know what sizes you need from certain brands. Nike is usually a size up for me while Adidas is a size down. Because of the style of this shoe, you may want to get a size smaller than what you're used to. If you own multiple shoes of different sizes, I'd say just find the average & go a size down. The style of this shoe is narrower at the toe, not rounded like a sneaker. If you order your usual size, you may find that you have a lot of toe space & notice that your shoe feels about an inch longer than what you're used to. As an expert at not doing research, I bought these shoes along with many similar shoes & boots (Palladium Boots, Chelsea Boots, Thursday Boots etc), and failed to go down a size & now all my shoes feel a little funny with the large space left for my toes. As someone who is used to buying sneakers, this is never really a problem - but because this is such a far more sophisticated style of shoe, it's a different ballpark & you'll have to trust reviews like this one! Also, if you're making the wardrobe move from sneakers to shoes like this (like I am), you're making a very rational adult decision & I am proud of you.Other than that, I highly recommend this shoe. It looks good and it's extremely affordable. Goes great with everything & is a staple pair of shoes for your wardrobe. Go with the Desert Storm variant, can't go wrong with brown!

This is an honest and I think fair review. So outta the box and several weeks in I was loving this chukka, affordable, stylish, and felt great. Then one day my heels started to hurt pretty bad, and this continued while wearing this show. I thought well maybe I just need new soles as typically show manufacturers do not put the best soles in. Well come to find out I did need new soles but also the base of the shoe is NOT SOLID, it more like a structal outline with some guides as support then the layed a hard clay ontop. The clay had over short time of use wore into the frame beneath it and the hard guides underneath were now exposed ruinning the sole and allowing my foot to have next to no support. This seems kinda poorly made but hey you get what you pay for right? I still wear these but since then have filled the base with more clay and layered the top with insulation foam. Also doubled up on soles for added protection but with the modification they feel as good as new.

These shoes are very comfortable I run a pub so on my feet 12-16hrs and need comfort these shoes stand the test so much so I ordered a second pair in a different colour about a week later you’ll not be disappointed

As a diabetic, I usually buy expensive shoes as I find cheaper ones don’t feel comfortable. With the lockdown I ordered a pair of these just to keep me going but am genuinely impressed with the quality and comfort of the shoe. For the price, these are a bargain

With waxed laces, thicker sole and thicker leather, my boots arrived and I love them. They are smart and casual - will look great with a pair of jeans as well as chinos and I’ll be wearing them often.

Excellent product, great value for money. Very comfortable straight out of the box. Bought two pairs (blue & black) but will buy two more as these are great!
