Great Sound and Look
I bought this for my father who is a bit of a flute collector (especially Shakuhachis). He loves to play Shakuhachi and has a number of other flutes that he has bought over the years. This flute is well made and has beautiful tone.

It priced well for what it is.
It was as I expected. A couple of applications of walnut in the bore will seal the interior and improve the sound. It's a nice addition to my flute collection.

Love it.
I ordered the Shakuhachi for my son in law who is an amazing musician. He played it right away as it was so similar to other instruments he has. The sound of the bamboo instrument is different and he was excited to learn more about traditional tunes to play on this instrument. The packaging for the item was very well done and gave maximum protection. The item arrived earlier than expected as well. Overall, awesome experience with this company.

Extremely good tuning and quality for the price
Maybe I just got a good one, but I'm very impressed with the tuning, ease of play, and quality of tone with this for this kind of price. You will not be disappointed
