This is an excellent grinder. The instructions aren't so good, as it's clear the writer isn't a native English speaker. So I'll report what I've figured out.The filling capacity is listed in two ways, as 70 grams and as 2/3 full. A gram is a measure of weight not volume, but for beans that works out to about 5-6 tablespoons. The place where the metal and plastic sections come together seems to be at about the 2/3 point. So I'd say to be safe add the lesser of the two amounts.It says that when grinding the lid should be on tightly. However, the lid just sits on the base. I used the hand that wasn't operating the on/off button to keep the lid in place.The grinder should not be on for more than 60 seconds at a time. When using it for 45 to 60 seconds, pause for 60 seconds before turning it on again. I would use this time to turn the grinder over briefly so the contents can be stirred for more grinding will be more effective.The grinder should not be used on things that aren't relatively dry. I assume this means the grinder isn't for banana, apple, etc chunks to make a puree. What it actually says is that what your grinding 'must contain no moisture' but that's an overstatement.From my experience, I'd add that if you're grinding up something pungent, you shouldn't immediately open the compartment until the contents settle. I ground up a spice mixture that was too coarse to be used without a lot of cooking or soaking. My nose wasn't happy that I removed the lid too soon.

This is a great little grinder! I purchased it to grind spices in a spice mix, and it works great for that. There are many things you can use it for, but that is what I really wanted to do with it.It was well-packaged, came out of the box with all pieces intact, and arrived in a timely manner. It doesn't look like much, but this grinder is awesome. I originally bought it because it was inexpensive but it has far exceeded my expectations. I use it to make dry rubs and grind coffee beans. It has yet to let me down even when I load it up. Everything I put in comes out perfectly blended every time. Would buy again.
