Ultra Sheer Dry-Touch Sunscreen SPF 45, 3 Fl Oz

This is my go to sunscreen. Hands down. I used this the whole time I was living in Hawaii. I have very sensitive skin and this never caused a breakout or irritation. If anything, it softened my skin. It never makes my face greasy or shiny. The pricepoint on this is a little high, compared to Walmart on the mainland. But, for the convenience, this is great. Overall, this is definitely something I would recommend to others looking for a reliable sunscreen that won't cause breakouts on your face.

I'm not a frequent user of sunblock because it feels heavy and it's a bit inconvenient. This sunblock on the other hand really is ultra sheer and you can hardly feel it on your skin. If you're out all day, by the end of the day the sunblock does feel a little grimy, but I can live with that because this sunblock really feels like it's protecting my skin. Definitely would buy another once this runs out and the ever-so-slight sunblock smell is even growing on me.

I've known since I was a little girl that daily sunscreen, especially on the face, is a must. Every time I have purchased a face sunscreen in the past, it was used for a maximum of three days since every one was so greasy! After paying much more for other face sunscreens I thought I'd give this one a go and I'm quite gad that I did. I apply a thin layer over my face in the morning and I'm not oily or greasy at the end of the day. Perhaps the higher SPFs give the white, chalky layer (I bought SPF 45), but so far I haven't encountered that problem.

This sunscreen is ok. It does a good job protecting from sunburns. It also visually evens out the skintone. I wouldn't say it's completely sheer. It has a bit of white residue. What I didn't like about this sunscreen is that it does make me breakout, and has very strong sunscreen smell (which I happen to really dislike). Overall, and ok product given the price, but I'll be trying something else next time.

I have fair skin and try to take care of it, but I also love being in the ocean so it's difficult to find a balance. That said, I've been using this sunscreen on my face when surfing, paddling, scuba diving, or just frolicking at the shore for about 10 years. Combined with a religious skin care regimen, it's kept me looking much younger than I am for a long time. I've spent hours on the water sweating in the tropical sun without a chance to re-apply but never burn (my face...too bad my favorite body sunscreen is no longer available). Worth every penny.

It's lightweight, absorbs easily and doesn't leave a white film on your face. One drawback is that it stings a bit. Especially if you get it near your eyes, which can happen if you're in the tropics and the sweat runs down your face. That said, it didn't clog my pores and did the trick. Am buying it again, given it seems to be one of the best affordable and not overtly chemical sunscreen you can get in the US.

I read somewhere that the best sunblock is the one you'll actually use, so, this is it. Has a pleasant, light, powdery feel. I found a knock-off brand at a drugstore with the exact same ingredients and in the exact same quantities, but, with the right deal, it's SLIGHTLY cheaper to buy the real thing on amazon. Speaking of which, the 1-pack of 45 SPF is (despite the oddly pricey shipping) the best deal among the 1 vs. 2-packs and various SPFs offered here. At my time of purchase, anyway, it came out to $2.64/oz. The 2-pack is $2.79/oz. The next cheapest is the 2-pack of 70 SPF, at $3.09/oz, and the worst is the SPF 100 1-pack or the SPF 30 1-pack (a tie, both costing $4.12/oz). Speaking of SPF... I've read from reputable sources that once you get up to 30 or 35 or so, you're good, and the super high numbers like 100 don't necessarily provide better coverage. It's more a matter of USING it and using ENOUGH of it, so save your $. SPF 45 is definitely fine. PS. I read somewhere that the bottles with black behind 'Neutrogena' as opposed to light blue, have some new formula that causes rashes, but I used both products (like, one on one arm, one on the other) multiple times to check that, and was glad to notice no difference. It would be sad if we could no longer count on Neutrogena.

Goes on dry, not greasy, no odor and will not clog pores, cause breakouts or sweat into your eyes. Works very well to stop the damaging UV rays. Highly recommended. It is the only suncreen we will use.

J’ai acheté ce produit pour ma fille de 14 ans et j'ai essaye de l’utiliser aussi. La première foi , quand j'ai mis le produit sur mon visage il m'a cause une sensation de brulure sur tout le visage, et après j'ai eu les paupières qui se sont gonfle. J’ai fait des recherches sur internet, et j’ai constate que Neutrogena est au top de listes de protecteur solaire qui cause des allergies. C'est un protecteur avec filtre chimique . Selon les textes que j'ai lu, il faut mieux d'utiliser des protecteurs solaire avec des filtre physiques, avec soit l'oxyde de zinc ou de titane. Désolé pour mon français, mais j'ecrit beaucoup mieux en anglais...

Normally when you purchase a sunscreen it has a very strong scent and can be quite oily leaving your skin shiny. But, with this it has a nice fresh scent but not too strong and goes on like your moisturiser would. I've noticed that it also seems to help heal blemishes on your face. It's very gentle on your skin as there has been a time where I got some in my eyes but it didn't really sting, just rinsed it off. This is my first experience of Neutrogena and I will be using their other products soon.
