I love vedette products and find them to be reasonably priced for the quality. That being said, it really depends on your body and the particular style you choose. I am 5'5" with an hourglass shape, 28" waist and 41" hips, bust is 38". I purchased this for under a dress to smooth me out a bit. I find it to be very short in the torso and it folds a little in the middle, suggesting I should have gone up a size. I am trying to break it in and see if it gets better. Overall it feels like typical shapewear, is a firm hold. I just wish it was longer for more coverage. This may work wonderfully on a person with a shorter torso.

This product is awesome I have been using it for years so this was a replacement for my old one which ripped from constant use as it is a staple in my wardrobe......I normally get XL However there was none in the color i wanted so I decided to get the large thinking "it's stretchy it shouldn't be that far off from an XL".....boy was I wrong it was so tight I could hardly breathe but I still gave me a nice shape so I will keep it and only wear it to places where I don't have to eat 😳 But great product overall, very discreet and hardly shows up under your clothes.

I wear 38 to 40 inches at the waist in regular clothing and I bought a size 36. I must say. It fits tremendously! Yes you have a hard time going into it. It takes some getting use to. But I love it! I get a small waist, flat tummy and because of the thong area, a big booty. I love the way it fits when I wear bodycon dresses, high waist jeans and skirts. I just don't like the straps. But it was worth the buy.

It fit as everyone said, it was difficult to get on at first but I got it on and it brings my waist in. I'm going to use it under another leotard for a cosplay I'm doing and it gives me a lot of support and a good shape. I believe I got an extra small. My measurements are 34-26-37.5 and I'm 5'7"

This shaper is the thickest and tightest I've ever owned. I'm not gonna lie. It was super hard to get into. I'm not sure I would buy again. The thing rides up since it's so tight. Also my husband said it feels like steel when he put his hand on my waist. Lol. So it's noticeable under clothes. On the plus side once I got into it my waist was the smallest it's ever been. After two kids that was pretty neat.

I ordered a size M. I am 5'4 160lbs...I'm an hour glass shape and although it took a solid 5min to get into it the first time, I absolutely LOVE the defined waist it gave me!! It also make my butt look better! It is a little tight at the bottom but nothing unbearable. I would recommend this item. It also got here 2 days after I ordered it! Love it!
