Supa Mac Daddy Pimp Costume

This eye-grabbing costume looks and fits wonderfully. I'm 6' and 210 with a 32" inseam so I ordered a Large ... the pants fit great, and could easily accommodate a taller and heavier or thinner person, because of the nature the fabric. The pants cling just enough to look like a perfect fit on anyone +/- 2 inches and +/- 15 lbs. The jacket, being long, would also accommodate people shorter/taller and thinner/heavier than me. The leopard collar and lining is very sturdy and the leopard flashings of the collar extend inside the jacket go all the way down to the lower hem. Couple of tips: The costume is 100% polyester, so one needs to be careful ironing out the wrinkles on the collar. To remove the wrinkles, I ironed it on 'cotton' setting with steam through a towel. (I place a towel on the costume and then steam pressed it through the towel). Same with the gold scarf. I would NOT bother ironing the black portion of the costume. It's somewhat thin, but looks very plush, so no need to iron out wrinkles unless they're extreme (and again, I'd recommend the steam iron through a towel technique). The gold scarf is not as long nor as wide as I'd hoped, but it still works great. I simply tuck it in the jacket. To avoid either end coming out and looking 'frumpy' or unkept while wearing it, I join the ends with a small safety pin and keep them tucked inside the jacket. I also bought the "Big Gold Chain" [Amazon ASIN: Big Gold Chain ] and a dollar sign necklace to complement the ensemble. NOTE: The Big Gold Chain has a tendency to slip into the collar, which, again, makes the costume look a bit unkempt. To maintain the 'proper' look, I simply get the chain where I want it and pin the chain to the collar up close to the neckline using two small safety pins. The pins won't be noticeable at all, especially if you use small gold safety pins. Sunglasses are a must, but don't feel like you NEED the Elvis-style glasses. Just about any pair of sunglasses will make the costume look great. Platform shoes would make the costume AWESOME beyond belief, but I didn't feel like dropping $45 for the complementary style, and my alligator-patterned loafers look just fine. In my opinion, the ensemble is not complete without a cane. I got the Big Daddy Plush Cane [Amazon ASIN Big Daddy Plush Cane - Accessories & Makeup ], as it matches the costume well enough and doesn't break / fall apart after the first use. Overall: Great costume. It works great for Halloween as well as for any '70's party. **** Great PUN sidekick costume: My wife did not want to dress as a streetwalker, so she opted for dressing up like a farmer and carrying a garden hoe. To the kids, I was a rapper and she was a farmer. To the adults, well, we let them figure out the pun.

I am really looking forward to wearing this come October 31st. The hat fits well on my normal sized head. If you have a big noggin it might be tight. The pants fit fine and stretch a bit (6'0, 180 lbs, 34/36 waist ) and the jacket fits as well. The jacket even has shoulder pads for that extra kick. The scarf is a great touch but a little small. Like other people have mentioned, you will need accessories to make this really work. I would suggest a couple of gold chains, some bling rings, shades and a cane. My main complaint it the quality of the fabric seems a little cheap and the scarf is to small. Over all a great costume and can see myself wearing it after Holloween at another costume party.

Life of the party

I went as a pimp and my husband was my “employee.” We won best couples costume and I was comfortable all night in this. My only issues were that the pants were super long and the hat was really tight and I have a small head.

We attended a 70's birthday party and this outfit was THE HIT OF THE PARTY! Everyone loved it! My husband received TONS of compliments all night long! He is 5'11 and weighs 210. He wore a size XL. My husband has really long arms and broad shoulders and I was worried about the jacket and pants not being long enough...especially since he would be wearing stacks...but everything fit perfectly! The material was very soft and comfortable...there were no rips or tears, and it slipped on easily. Choosing this outfit was the best decision ever!

First off…..the costume is great. My husband is wearing it to a surprise birthday party and I have no doubt he will be the life of the party!! It is really a hoot, well made and good fit. HOWEVER, the outfit is supposed to include a gold scarf and it was not included. It is literally impossible to contact Amazon, they were the seller, and my frustration is boiling over right now. There are no options that include “incomplete order”. I don’t need to return it, I just need the part that is missing!! Time is of the essence….I have tried customer service, on line chat, email…..nothing works and customer service is nothing more than a merry go round!! What a joke!! I want the dang scarf…paid over $50!! Where is their quality control!!

Head Turner for sure. This costume fit comfortably and was decent construction. The hat was a bit wrinkled and needed to be adjusted. Other than that it will last many a costume party.

Size L is slightly too large for me (179cm, 82 kg). Wearing a belt and wrapping the pants around, made it fit well. Ironing before use helps to make it looking hilariously good.

The custom with the accessories is simply amazing! Size was correct.

The costume is great. As advertised. Sized correctly. Arrived on time, and everything is as good enough quality that it last through 2 Halloween parties and is now hanging up for another next year.
