I’m not an electrician and have very little experience with tools like this, so my review comes from a beginner’s perspective. For the price, the DOWELL 10-22 AWG Wire Stripper Cutter is surprisingly good! I used it to install a new bathroom light and found it very easy to strip cables without any hassle. The spring has excellent springback, making it effortless to press down without requiring much force. Unlike some other tools, this one doesn’t get stuck in the closed position, which is a big plus. If you’re looking for an affordable and reliable wire stripper for light DIY projects, I highly recommend this one!

Good quality for the price

These are easy to use and work well for stripping wires. The only criticism would be that the long straight-edge 'sheering' section of the cutters is slightly out of line and doesn't cut cleanly at the point nearest the wire-stripping section.

I already own a 10-22 AWG stripper, which I use at work most days. It's still working perfectly fine years later, but for the price to get a new one with the additional 22-30AWG stripper was a no brainier. The twin pack is a great option. Most wires I work with can be stripped on the 10-22AWG stripper. It's those wires which are 22-30AWG which are problematic for me. I usually end up stripping them with my teeth, or fingernails. Sorry, I'm a bit old school 😄 Some wire sleevings are rubberised PVC, and seem indestructible 😂 which are an absolute nightmare to strip back, so these will save my teeth and nails 😄 Over the past 33 years working as an electromechanical engineer I've owned and used multiple types of wire strippers, and to be honest they all do what they are meant too, it's just that some are better than others on certain PVC sleeving compounds. When the wires get smaller on multi strand wire cores, some strippers are too aggressive. With these you choose the size, to keep the metal! 😄👍 The additional crimping feature comes in-handy once in a while, but it's not something I use too often. I like these as they are simple, plus, I get to choose the stripping size, and they cover all wire sizes I work with 👌👍

Sturdy, exactly as expected as far as functionality. Can’t see me needing another in the near future, this can easily withstand daily use. Very sharp and precise cut. No reason to not recommend these.

These have both been some of the most consistently useful tools on my bench.

A welcome addition to my electrical tool box. Bought a pair and they look the business. I have yet to test them, hence the 4 stars. Optimistic.

Worked okay.

These wire cutters work great. They cut wires so easily so be careful. I use the tip like pliers to bend wire too. Very handy tool! Plus it has the little lever lock to keep them closed when not in use.
