Wow amazing the cheapest, reliable decent mesh available.
Hi I don't usually do reviews. Theses little beauty's are amazing. One near the ISP router. One in my bedroom and one in the study. Greatly improved WIFI much better then extenders. This is seamless including the set up. They are so stable and smooth without lag. They are the budget arm of TP link. Granted they are very light and not strong plastic however I can live with that as the signals in my opinion from the antennae can penetrate the thin plastic. They are not fragile but honestly once set up your going to leave them alone and not play American football with them. They also have 2 ethernet ports if you want to use a cable to your device. Bear in mind the master unit will only have 1 port available as one will be utilised by the ISP router. The slaves with have 2 ethernet ports. Hope this helps anyone considering purchase and they have 3 year warranty.

Difficult to add alongside ISP provided access point
I was wanting to add this mesh network to my existing network which exists as a mix of wired, HomeHubAV and wireless (existing will be replaced by the mesh) as a single class C subnet, but the default set up wants to take over the whole LAN, and expects to be plugged into the inward facing WAN port of a simple bridge or edge router, rather than just plugged in to the existing network. If I had plugged the WAN port into one of the internal Ethernet ports on the ISP router, it might have worked, but would have segmented the network, preventing the mesh from talking to other devices on the existing network without being routed through the ISP router. As I run DHCP, NTP and other services from dedicated devices, I wanted to turn off most of the provided services from the mesh router, and use static addresses for the Mecusys, I needed to deviate from the standard set up, and the documentation is almost non-existent for anything other than the stock install. It insisted that I configure the WAN port, which I did with bogus information, and I plugged the second port of the primary mesh router into an available port on my wired network. I turned off DHCP, and set a static address on the primary mesh router. This allowed me to connect and change the BSSID (using a different name to the existing one from the ISP router), and I was able to connect the other mesh devices. This effectively allows the mesh to be used as an extension to the existing network, and appears to work well enough, and I am getting good speeds (better than the ISP provided router). But I am having problems with the most remote router (I got the three pack). I have one on each floor of my house, which is a 100 year old three story house. The primary router is on the ground floor, and there is about 20 feet between that and the one on the next floor up, and then about 30 feet between that one and the next floor up. But the most remote router falls off the network at times of inactivity, and only returns again after being power-cycled. All the time it's in use, it's fine, but it's almost as if they drop into low power and fall out of the mesh when there is a period of inactivity. So it's a mixed bag. If I can resolve the drop-out issue, now I've found out a way of configuring it, it will augment my network, but if it doesn't, I may have to look at something else.

Great value mesh network
I had got the Tenda Nova MW6, but for all it's sleek looks, it's limitations led me to getting the Mercusys S12 3-pack.I needed faster speeds in my home office, but what made me go with this mesh network were the features that were missing from the far more expensive Tenda Nova, namely the ability to hide the SSID, and to be able to change the channel for both 2.4 and 5Ghz channels.Yes, the Tenda has a nice app and the Mercusys only has an old-school web site, but being able to hide the SSID is the most essential security feature of any home wifi network... And when certain channels get cluttered with your neighbours wifi channels, it's good to be able to change them.No complaints with the speed or stability of the mesh, and it has lots of other features such as Parental Controls. Easy to install too. I'd love to be able to throw away my TalkTalk modem but I've yet to find a mesh that will work by plugging in the mesh direct (and selecting Dynamic IP or PPPoE).

Actually shocked how good these are for the money
Admittedly I know a fair bit about networking, and have created a home-brew mesh of sorts with a range of routers and power line accessories, but it was getting a little messy and I had rather too many things plugged in. I got these for £46, thinking it's an easy return as they are sold and supplied by Amazon directly if they were rubbish. They are NOT rubbish. They feel it, really lightweight, feel like empty plastic boxes frankly, and not premium plastic at that, but that really work.I first went round the house doing speed checks in all the hard to reach corners with just the main internet provider supplied modem router. I then plugged just one of these boxes directly into and next the said router. Straight away I was getting better speeds (marginally) in most locations. I then went into the loft 2 floors above, and my connection speed halved (as expected) from 50mb to under 22mb. So I paired up a 2nd one of these boxes, and sat it up there. Immediately I was getting the same speeds as basically everywhere else in the house.I haven't even used the 3rd one. Don't need it! Putting one in the loft has both helped one of my dead spots, but also means all the crappy ethernet attached dongles I have for Hue, IKEA smart gateways, the dongle for my Smart Heating, Homebase for my IP home security and my backup hard disk are all now up there too, out of the way, not causing a horrible rats nest of boxes and extension sockets and wires next the the main home router.I seriously cannot fault these for the price. The only (minor) gripe is that all the ethernet ports are 100 not gigabit, but then my internet is only 60Mb theoretical max so I'm not losing anything, and other than above dongle mess that's the only ethernet connect I actually have. Everything else is WiFi, so within the home, all wife is now operating super fast so I can (for example) stream my PS4 from a room 2 floors away to my main TV, or stream games via Steamlink from a PC to the living rom super fast and none of that is affected by the ethernet speeds.

Fast wifi
Does a great job. Just what I needed to boost my wifi signal throughout the house and faster too.

Excelente Producto
4 estrellas por que ni en el manual ni en la pagina del fabricante dice como poder cambiarse o activar la Red 5G, por lo demás considero un buen producto, perfecto alcance, buena calidad y excelente precio.

Rubbish item
It’s cheap for a reason. Drops out all the time packing features on others. Don’t bother.
