I was scared to order canned foods on Amazon because so many people complain about how their cans arrived dented. Well I'm very happy to report that not a single can was dented in my order, which was a relief in these stressful times! I had never tried the lime & cilantro flavor before, but it's delicious. It has the same level of heat as regular Rotel, so if you're looking for something mild, definitely get the "mild" flavor and not the lime & cilantro flavor. This lime & cilantro flavor is quite versatile. If a recipe calls for salsa, you can use a can of this instead. Also great to add flavor to rice, beans, bean burritos, ground beef, turkey, vegan meat crumbles, or any type of Mexican casserole, stew, or soup. Tons of ways to use it and I wouldn't hesitate to order this particular flavor again in the future. Especially at this price, and given the fact that fresh produce isn't a possibility for some of us right now.

I use the Rotel Mild Diced Tomatoes and Green Chilies in everything from a simple dip base to chili, to chicken tortilla soup. I have added them to stews and roast. The canned is packed with tomatoes and what juice is there is very flavorful. I ordered them by the case from Amazon for the price and as I described, I use Rotel frequently cooking for my family. The can is smaller than the usual canned tomatoes, but then you aren't paying for a bunch of liquid to water down your ingredients. Great buy, and a great product!

I add it to spaghetti sauce, soups, chile, and use as a salsa. It is indispensable for my kitchen! Mixed with a cheese or plant based substitute it makes a terrific dip. For Mexican foods, just add a can to rice before cooking, and a dash of cumin powder, and you have an instant side dish. Truly I buy it in bulk.

Came on time

This tomato mix is great for making beef or chicken Mexsican food, a simple gucamole, or by itself as a salsa with nachos. Just a hint of heat, not at all overwhelming. Definitely a repeat purchase.

These last long. They were definately worth the purchase. The size of the cans, its contents and taste consistent throughout .

Absolutely love, my rotelle… But my screen was telling me when I went to order it that it was unavailable. That’s the only reason I did not order it.

Rotel is my GO-TO brand for diced tomatos and green chilies. All of their versions of it, from mild on up.... but lately my digestive system asked me to go mild for a while.....and so now I buy that by the case on Amazon. Ii always used to cook with it. Always? That means since.......well, I learned about Rotel in south Louisiana. During the years I worked on the water down that way. Some of my favorite dishes inclute Rotel specifically in the recipe. And, pop a can in the fridge to add to a green salad after draining. I have had them straight out of the can cold on side a cracker as a midnite snack....there is something so honest about a tomato that lives thru the canning process to join me in a snack at any hour.... you gotta love Rotels way with diced tomatos and green chilies

The product itself is good! The problem is that the order was for 12 cans. I received only 1.

In a good way! Bought on sale otherwise it is way too costly. Not sure why it’s so expensive but might have to make my own if it doesn’t become more reasonably priced.
