These shoes are great for just walking to and from places, especially in a city or town where the pavements are flat. I wouldn't recommend these for those who go on walks around parks, etc, as the soles are very thin. That being said, they're of good built quality and fit very well right away, not much wearing-in needed at all. As it's (still) lockdown due to Covid, I haven't been able to test them out as much as I'd like but I'm looking forward to wearing these everywhere in London. Some of the best value shoes I've bought in recent years. Very happy with this purchase.

Vans are my favourite shoe brand from a purely aesthetic stand point. I love the way they look, the colour tones, the shape and form, the neat stylistic choices all add up to a shoe that just is visually fantastic. These pair really well for a smart casual look. I love wearing these with jeans and a smart shirt as it's a great match. These classic Vans fit me pretty nicely. I have quite wide feet but I fit into these quite well. I find them quite comfortable, but only for a few hours at a time, rather than for a whole day at a time as I prefer a more elevated running shoe for that. Durability is pretty decent. Canvas isn't the most hard wearing of shoes and the rubber sole is solid but again not the thickest, so they may not hold up in rougher environments. Aesthetics 5/5 Fit 4/5 Comfort 3.5/5 Durability 3.5/5 Overall 4/5 - a recommended purchase if you like canvas shoes and enjoy the aesthetic.

Your getting a first class shoe

I'd never really bought a pair of "higher end" shoes befire, I always stuck to the cheaper store brand shoes, so making the transition from those to these was incredible. They were delivered the next day, which was perfect, they look visually stunning and the padding on the tongue and around the sides always and back of the ankle part offer lots of support and comfort. For me it is often hard to find shoes that don't press onto my toes, which hurt under the slightest pressure, but with these shoes, I found myself forgetting I even had the issue, they fit that well. One thing I would highly recommend would be to buy the size above what you would usually get in order to compensate for the bulky padding. I believe you really can't get a better shoe for the price, stunning.

I've been buying Vans since I was a kid and they're always dependably a classic. Stylish and timeless. Typical of Vans, these have a very comfortable but flat fit with minimal arch support (there is a little but it's not intrusive). There's enough cushioning that you can take some shock but not so much that interferes with you having a sense of feedback - perfect for skating. The only thing that stops me giving a 5 star is that they always, without fail, end up eventually beginning to seperate slightly where the midsole meets the fabric. Don't get me wrong, it takes a long time and a lot of punishment before this happens but no sneaker is indestructible. I will keep buying these forever.
