Works great but not loud
The speaker works fine, but the beep is very soft or low. The beep is loud enough to be heard, but the beep tone is much lower than my other computer. Don't know if it is this PC or the speaker. Follow up: The speaker is still working good after being used for a while (loud enough for my use). Happy with the speaker. I am raising to a five star.

Excellent Quality Motherboard Speaker
I bought a couple of these motherboard speakers, about 6 years ago. They still work phenomenally well, and now that I'm building two more computers, I ended up ordering two more of these. The solder quality is great, and the beeping is the perfect decibel level... not low to where you can't hear it.

It makes the beeps sounds generated by the motherboard and does a fine job of it
It works, what more can I say? This is a very small piezoelectric sound device, not a true speaker. It makes the beeps sounds generated by the motherboard and does a fine job of it. Mine sounds a bit muted and strangled, but since this is the replacement device, I suspect the issue may be insufficient voltage to the device from the motherboard itself and not the mini piezoelectric device I purchased. It does what it is supposed to do, an actual small speaker would be better, but it is what it is. An audible notification device from the motherboard.

Cheaply made, arrived broken
Arrived with wires completely detached from the speaker. Barely any solder used on the tiny-gauge wire. Not worth the energy to replace. 🗑️

It beeps!
Remember when your case used to have a little squeaker-speaker in the front, and you had to route an obnoxiously tiny-gauge wire with teensy jumpers to the motherboard in order to hear your computer beep, once, when it boots? Well, guess what? Now, you can relive that nostalgic experience, except this time routing a tiny gauge wire with teensy jumpers *with a thing dangling awkwardly off the end of it* that just flops around loosely. A++++ would buy a 10-pack. <3 <3 <3

Barely audible
Installed in a new build Gigabyte Z790 AORUS motherboard so I could hear startup beeps etc. It is just barely audible.
