Wonderful jeans. They fit to perfection. I am 5 ft 5 in tall and weigh approximately 115 lb. Perfect fit, fit the bill and will definitely purchase them again in the near future. They are very soft and comfortable.

These Amazon Essentials skinny jeans are absolutely perfect for shorter people like me. The length hits just right without needing any alterations, and the fit is flattering and comfortable all day long. The fabric has just enough stretch to move easily but still holds its shape well. I’m so happy to have found jeans that actually fit my proportions—definitely a wardrobe staple now!

Okay, I was going to give this 5 stars, but sizing is way off between washes.First the good stuff!Pocket placement is perfect for short people (I'm 5'2) so they appear to lift the butt instead of drooping it with oversized, low-set pockets.I have an hour glass figure and these jeans accommodate my thighs and calves beautifully.There isn't excess fabric in the front which has been a common issue for me with jeans. They sit perfectly against my stomach and groin.Now the bad, and the only bad: size discrepancy between washes.First pair I bought are the black wash (gorgeous, dark blue that can be dressed up), and the fabric was stiff and there wasn't much stretch. In my opinion, fit perfectly between waist and hip. I had to buy another pair. (Size 8 short).I bought the medium wash in the same size and the waist was HUGE. I actually thought someone may have tried them on and stretched out the waist. The waist was as wide as the hips. I then exchanged for a 6 short. They fit perfectly except for the waist. It's still too big. It's manageable when first putting them on, but I know with the stretchiness of this wash that it will be a problem after some wearing. I could go down to a 4 short in the waist, but I don't think it'll look as good on my hips and legs.Moral of the story: BUY THESE JEANS! If buying the black wash, buy your size, maybe size up because the waist is snug and doesn't stretch. If buying the medium wash, go down a size or two, there is a lot more stretch and the waist is larger.ButBUT BUY THESE JEANS if you are short/petite. You won't regret it!

5'4", size 4/27 in jeans, 29 ankle inseam. The light wash in size 4 fits really good with the waist just a tad loose. They are lightweight skinny jeans with a little bit of stretch, not jeggings like I had hoped.The stitching makes the jeans uncomfortable, though. The seam that connects the waistband to the pants has no stretch, so it pinches when sitting or bending. Same with the hems at the ankles that make slipping on/off difficult.All the pockets are real pockets. No fake front pockets like their knit jeggings.

Ordered size 12 short. Fit perfect. 5’3” 145lbs Very comfortable. Retain shape all day. Will order in darker color.

Just got these so haven’t washed and worn yet. Tried them on and they are great. Run a bit small, but not too much. They stretch but feel like they are holding you in and not going to bag. I bought 2 sizes and can wear both.

I would give these jeans a solid 4 out of 5 because they wear out on the inner thighs next to the center (crotch area) seem. I LOVE the fit and the color. They are like medium thin material which is flattering but it does get worn on the inner thigh.You could assume that I am a woman and maybe thicker thighs could cause that ware which in any jeans is true (I am a size 14 and would describe my use as moderate ware). However my 19 year old tall 6'2" son bought a few pairs of the same in mens (skinny and stretchy) which he wears too loose I feel like the pants and the belt holding them up halfway fall down hit butt. So there isn't any thigh friction ware there but I can see his pants thinning in the same area. I will prob get patches and reinforce them. The pockets are a decent size. Like I said they are medium thin so outside in the winter walking around I might put tights or long johns underneath. Overall they are nice looking and nice fitting jeans.
