Work great!
This is a great, light-weight shade that reduces glare while still providing good visibility. When I have my dogs in the car, I actually use a couple more of them to fully cover my side windows and keep the sun off the dogs (yes, they extend forward to the front windows when I do that but the suction cups are strong enough to hold them in place even where they bend to go over the door posts and that just provides more sun protection for the dogs.Suction cups: these are the same suction cups that are used on a variety of auto sun screens and they have generated much discussion whenever they are used. I've actually reviewed them in detail for another sun screen - here's what I said:THE SUCTION CUPS ARE JUST FINE: they ARE lightweight - but then only have to hold up a couple of ounces and they do that quite well; they ARE extremely flexible - but this is a GOOD thing as it enables you to get a better seal when you put them on and makes them easier to remove when you take them off.You do, however, have to do as others have suggested and heat them up in hot water to eliminate any creases that may have appeared during shipping and storage before using them for the first time. Here's what I did:Heat a cup of water until it's VERY hot. I just put a coffee cup of hot water in the microwave for a minute and it was fine. The water doesn't have to be boiling but it won't hurt the suction cups if it is.Put the suction cups in the water for a minute or so. Again, it doesn't hurt to leave them longer but you need to make sure that you leave them in long enough for them to get warm all the way through.Take them out and press them firmly onto a flat surface. Make sure that the cups are completely flattened and don't have any creases in them. Leave them like this until they cool completely.Put the suction cups on the screens and they will hold very well. Mine have been up in my car for four days now and are still firmly attached.Caveat: some people have mentioned the suction cups don't hold when it's cold. I live in Texas so I don't have much opportunity to test that but I believe it's likely to be true: if the suction cups are cold and stiff, they won't flex enough to seal completely. My guess is that if you held them in front of a heater vent for a minute or two or even just held them in your hands long enough to warm them up, they'd hold. Or at least they'd hold as long as the window isn't really cold. At any rate, once the car interior warms up, they should be fine.

Don't throw away the suction cups, you can fix them!
I ordered several different brands of inexpensive sun shades recently, and when they came in I realized they all had very similar, flimsy black suction cups. 90% of them were completely warped and unusable. 3 out of 4 suction cups on this product looked bent in half.Fortunately you can fix them!Bring a small pot of water to a boil, take it off the heat (very important), then dump the suction cups into the water. After about a minute you should see they have returned to their original shape. Pull them out and place them suction cup down gently on a flat surface like a countertop. Don't squish them down yet - Let them start to cool for 10 seconds then slowly press each one down a little at a time until you have full suction.Pop them up after a couple minutes and you're ready to install in your car. If your cup is still warped, repeat the process with the water.I think the shade could stand to be a couple inches wider, but overall I'm pleased, and the price was dirt cheap ($6-7)

Not as shown in Amazon photo or delivery pic. Do not like at all! Junk in my openion
"Amazon photo" and dilevery item photo shows and states "Fabric Mesh" & both Photos show screen with 4 suction cups. THIS IS NOT THAT ITEM!! I have the "Very Large" fabric mesh screens with 4 suction cups that can be left on for night driving & Love them. They are great to shade Very Large SUV & Do Not blow down if other windows are down because of suction cups. Got at Wallmart years ago, I wanted more. This item is "Black Plastic" with No suction cups. This is not large enough for Large Truck or Large SUV rear or rear side windows. Cant see through for day driving in rear window, or for night driving At All! These will Not fold up. Supposed to stay on by static cling, Im sure will blow down if other windows are open.It is reasonable that that this Black Plastic will absorb heat from direct sun exposure & could burn childrens hands. These would never work in Las Vegas heat, all soft plastic in cars MELT in Las Vegas summer temperatures. I cant risk ruining my window tint when this plastic gets too hot and melts when applied directly onto my window tinting. I Want the Non plastic Truly "Extra Large "Fabric Mesh" type with 4 suction cups for Large SUV & Large Full Size Truck rear windows and Extra Large side windows. These are not large enough for either and are plastic Not fabric mesh as stated or in Amazon photo.AMAZON Please get Larger "Extra Large" fabric mesh item with suction cups in stock. Also the same for passenger windows.Amazon has none by any seller that are Truly Extra Large even if stated extra large.

Sunny day protection Static cling
Great find, perfect for those sunny days when driving and the sun is at 100% brightness. Static cling and I also use it for the windshield as extra glare protection (being short) and the sunvisior provides NO coverage. Get it whether a driver or passenger it's worth it.

Meh
I do like how dark they are. I think I overpaid at $12 but meh.. They are warped at the bottom which really annoys me because it hasn’t worked itself out yet after several days. They don’t cling well unless it’s hot outside then yeah the cling works great. At night however, you have to hope it’ll stay up if at all. They are small so don’t expect it to offer much privacy but it does keep most prying eyes off your stuff. I mean you’d have to be a peeping Tom to really get a good look at what’s in my car so I do like how dark they are. And they do help with the extreme sun hitting my cooler that is in my front seat. I’m not amazed but they have some usefulness.

So great I bought them three times
Absolutely great! I drive a long distance for work as well as park in the sun. These may lose the static cling over time but I just wedge them in my window and then roll it up all the way so it holds it, perfect for road trips. I cut a hole in the one for the driver side so I can see the side view mirror. The sun is beating down on me, but no more driver tan.
