A solid replacement, no damage so far. I'll update with time.
I have been using my Epson Home Cinema 2100 for well over 6 years, my original bulb had 4,212 hours on it, it had dimmed slightly over its lifespan. It was nearly spent. I saw this lamp replacement and took a chance on it; I know there is a chance that non-oem bulbs can damage the projector because they're not always made to the same standards.Installation was easy, a few removed screws and a tug- the original bulb came out fast. I also took the time to clean my filter out so there were no issues with airflow cooling the new bulb- if it was faulty, I wanted every chance to know and get it out of my projector before it could do any permanent damage. The new bulb fit in perfectly, I screwed it down, reinstalled the cover and I was done. When I powered the projector on I reset the bulb hours, turned off the aperture, set it to eco (low power) mode and began testing for brightness, color and flickering. After powering it on, allowing it to warm up, I noticed bright white scenes shifted from warmer and cooler temperatures. Think a static white picture shifting between slightly yellow to slightly blue tints- and this only happened when the screen was mostly white. I shifted between different colors, graphs and combinations, but only a static white picture had this issue. I checked the temperature of the air coming out of my projector- it wasn't any hotter than the OEM bulb. The problem resolved itself once the bulb was completely warmed up, after about 30 minutes of use, since then I have not noticed it.Okay, so far so good, the projector seems to be working fine, it didn't have any discolorations, color reproduction seemed the same as it was before and the overall brightness was like when my projector was brand new. So I went into the settings and turned on the bright mode, turned on the aperture and tested for heat over long term viewing- good ol' binge watching. Got through all the episodes of Alien: Earth. My room was getting toasty, but the projector was going strong.Over the course of a week, I piled on 24 lamp hours, carefully checking for signs of damage to my projector's optics and LCDs, so far everything is as it should be. I haven't seen any bulb flicker in that time, no further issues with white scene temperature, and no overheating. Now it's a waiting game- will the bulb's lifespan make it over 4,000 hours like my original did? I'm cautiously optimistic. Everything works. It's like my projector is brand new. It's going to double as my space heater as we transition into the winter months. When I hit certain bulb hour milestones (100, 500, 1000) I'll come back to update the review. For the time being it earns 5 stars, the directions are very clear, the installation process is painless, the results have been excellent, minus that breaking in period of the white scenes.

No Problems with Install. Very bright!
Installation was easy! You can download the manual for your projector or youtube "Your projector model" followed by the words "lamp replacement" and you'll find the process to be hassle free. I have a Epson 2150 Home Cinema projector and I could tell my bulb was going out. The picture was dim no matter how much I increased the brightness and the colors were very dull. After replacing the bulb/lamp, I feel like my projector is brand now. Brightness is amazing! I actually had to turn it down, since I had to turn it up do to the old bulb going out. The colors pop and look amazing! I didn't have time to set up my screen but even on the wall you can see how beautiful the colors, clarity and contrast are. This is the perfect photo to represent that. The price is a good value for the money, functionality is top notch. Fits into my projector perfectly. Just remember, after changing the lamp, be sure to go to settings and reset the lamp timer. That way you can track the lifespan of your lamp. It's also a good idea to note the lifespan of your old lamp in the lamp timer settings. That way when it's time to change the lamp again in the future, you can compare the lifespan between the old and new one. Movie nights are going to be epic!

This bulb brought my old projector back to looking better than I remembered it ever looking!
I have a nice and bright picture again! I knew my projector bulb was getting tired but had no idea how bad it was until the bulb was replaced! The new bulb arrived and I spent a bit of time opening the projector up to clean it out thoroughly, once I got it reassembled I did a quick test to check function not noticing much if any difference. It was later that evening when we started a movie we all noticed the brightness and clarity were improved. I know some bulbs can actually wash out the picture but this hits the mark on brightness with the vivid color I demand! I almost purchased a new projector but now I'm glad I tried this first because it's as good as new and I saved a TON of money!!!

Nope
Non-oem lamp damaged my Epson Home Cinema 2150s prism. Runs too hot for what it's listed. Find yourself an Epson manufacturer lamp... I'm going to find a new projector. Good luck and Thanks for the memories Amazon!
