DJI RS Extended Grip/Tripod (Metal)

Broke my last one by knocking the gimbal over and one of the legs broke over at the pivot point. Quickly ordered this replacement. Job done!

I use this for my Osmo action cameras and it is top quality, as you would expect from DJI.

When tightening the grip/tripod to my gimbal, the screw just shears off. I don't see myself as a particularly muscular individual and I wouldn't say I have an overly strong hand grip, but when tightening the grip/tripod by hand to the base of the gimbal, the small screw thread just snaps off. Luckily it breaks in my hand as opposed to when it is sitting on a table when the gimbal and £4500 worth of camera is sitting on it - as that would be an expensive malfunction to have to deal with if things get broken. It's not as though I am over-working the product either, as I probably use the gimbal and grip once a month, and considering I have only had the grip for 18 months, that is not a lot of wear and tear. Be very careful when using this product. This is the second time this has happened to me with this same product - maybe I should just try one of DJI's cheaper competitors. - Or perhaps look for another career, maybe crushing walnuts with my bare hands???? - NOT HAPPY.

First of all it came a day later than due which was already bad enough. When I got it today it was loose and not stable at all when I placed it on a table it snapped. Poor quality!

este tripod es diferente al que viene originalmente con el producto, se me hace caro excesivamente pero viene mas solido en metal y no plastico

Lo compré porque se me rompió el de plastico que viene con el ronin, y compré este de metal, los acabados son totalmente mejores, algo caro para lo que es, pero muy bueno en materiales y acabados.

Super cooler Fuß. sehr solide, stabil und breit. Perfekt auch um ihn an einen langen Stativstab zu schrauben, wie z.B. den Insta360 Carbon Stab 3m und dann als Handheld zu nutzen, als auch superschnell auszuziehen und den DJI Fuss auszuklappen. Steht dann auch auf 2m Höhe noch sicher auf einem ebenen Boden. Nur bei Unebenheiten ist der Fuß ungünstige, da dieser keine anderen Winkel einrasten kann und somit dann schief stehen würde. Würde ihn jederzeit wieder kaufen, auch wenn er teuer ist.

My original one was crappy plastic and snapped a leg off one day. This replacement is metal so it should last.
