Fits R53 Mini
No plastic frame and somewhat shorter compared to the OEM filter. Fits our mini well: easy to install under the glove compartment. Threads into the slots easily. Seems to work well. Good value for price

Cleaner air, less musty!
This fit perfectly in my 2012 mini cooper hardtop. I hadn’t changed the filter since buying the car years ago, and thought it was probably important to do so. The old filter was so disgusting, I’m glad I changed it. This filter feels nice and maybe it’s just a placebo but I really do feel like the air conditioning in my car smells less musty after having replaced the ancient filter. It was super easy to replace, the spot for it in my car was right under the glove compartment. So far it’s working well. Totally worth it.

5 minute install. No tools!
You just have to pop the plastic cover off in the passenger footwell on the R53 Mini and pull the old one out and push the new one in through the curved tracks on each side. 5 minutes later I’m breathing fresher air. If you go to dealers or oil change shops they want to be replacing cabin air filters every six months - so they can charge you an extra $50. Just say ‘no’. These last 2 years or more.
