Makes long bike rides so much more comfortable.
These things are so simple yet so effective. Have changed the factory standard grips on my Specialized epic evo. Before my hands would get so tired and uncomfortable and after putting the ESI grips on, the rides became so much more comfortable.

Very comfortable, less fatigue!
Great grips overall, based on their price-point and function. I've went through probably 3-4 grips in the last 3 years. I was trying to find a pair that would decrease my forearm soreness/fatigue while riding. My grips previous to the Chunkys were the Ergon GA3 which had kind of a flat grip to help with ergonomics and comfort. They were "ok" but didnt really do much in terms of the fatigue I was frequently experiencing. I decided to jazz up my bike a bit Id get a different colour grip, and with that a differen brand. After researching for an hour or so on the web, I decided on the extra Chunkys based on pricepoint, reviews, colour and tring a style I havent yet tried. Im glad I did. I have noticed a sizable decrease in arm/hand fatigue since I bought them. I will prob stick with these going forward, as they are the most comfortable grips I've used to date. If it aint broke.... Of which, one note, they arent as durable as other grip materials like rubber or plastic. I had a decent wipeout a couple weeks back, and a small chunk near the end cap tore off. I wouldn't expect this type of material to be durable when it comes to crashes, but hey, thats the tradeoff for extreme comfort when bombing down the trails!

Comfortable and no more cramps in my hands
A bear to install but with the effort. Comfortable and no more cramps in my hands. Put 4 or 5 zipties inside the grip, this will help it slide on then pull out the ties and go riding !

Comfortable and Grippy
These provide a lot of cushioning. They might be too big if you have small hands. Excellent grip. The installation procedure is a bit unusual, but it’s easy if you follow the instructions.

Get them if you like comfort
I like these Grips. They look good, feel good and are much better than stock. A little Rubbing Alcohol and they went on easier than expected. I thought they would be thicker, oh well I guess I will have to wait until they make the "Extra Extra Chunky".

Nice grips.
These are good. That's all I can say, try em out yourself and see what you think. Sorry if this review sucks. It's been pouring rain all day, I can't ride and I'm bored. I decided to review every Amazon purchase I've ever made. Once the beer gets flowing, this should get funny. Thanks for reading.

I'm a dedicated ESI convert now.
A pro rider recommended this grips. Now I'm sold on these. The cushioning is better than the typical rubber type grips but doesn't feel mushy. I find a larger diameter grip to be more comfortable. Those with smaller hands may prefer the Chunky grip. The tack is good and no more slippery when wet than rubber grips. They are longer than out of the box than the standard grip but when you install them on the bars you push them to the regular size and they plump up a bit. You trim them if you prefer.

... my rigid spesh fatboy and they are the most comfortable grips I have used
Put these on my rigid spesh fatboy and they are the most comfortable grips I have used. Totally eliminated the hand pain and tingling I used to get. Used rubbing alcohol to install and they slid right on. Only complaint is they get dirt in them and look slightly dingy. Oh well it is a mtb
