2X Black Battery Cover for Microsoft Xbox 360 Wireless Controller

I have not played my xbox 360 in a couple years, however, my young son wanted a game system to play putt putt, pinball etc that was on the old system. I had lost the original battery covers as had been using rechargeables which no longer worked. I checked local stores like Gamestop, walmart, target and nobody carried these battery covers which are needed to install batteries in the controller. I gave these a try and they work great, snapped right in like new OEM parts. Now I have 4 working controllers, the bad part is my son is way better than me at putt putt and pinball...but we are having fun.

My dog ended up chewing my old battery cover and this fit on perfectly. No issues at all. I use rechargeable batteries for my controls and as a result take the cover on and off almost every time I use it to swap out charged and noncharged batteries and it hasnt shown any wear and tear after more than a couple weeks of use. The black colored one doesnt match spot on with the OG controllers black but it didnt matter much to me. That migh have also been just because my controllers are faded after owning them for more than a decade.

The original battery covers for my Xbox 360 controllers had been giving me connection problems for a long time. I finally decided to try these and they work great. I have to say that they are a fairly tight fit to insert. That could be from being third party or maybe my original ones were also that tight years ago. Either way I recommend these as a good replacement solution.

So I purchased some controllers and discovered that one of the battery packs was damaged and I was able to track down this replacement. It fits perfectly and you would never be able to tell that it was purchased via Amazon. Made my day and my kids are happy they can all play vs having to take turns.

Don't leave batteries in too long once the kiddos move on to different gaming systems. We gifted an Xbox One and an Xbox 360 this Christmas but couldn't do so in good conscience if they didn't work properly. The older units had just enough corrosion that they didn't work. WD-40 didn't help. New holders did the trick. MS design is crappauge. Some deserving kiddos had a nice Christmas with a ton of games. All you can hope for -- pay (or give) it forward.

My controllers are pretty old and they had been having a lot of connection issues. They kept turning off in the middle of games even if I had just put a fresh set of batteries in them. I was thinking I would have to buy a new controller, but I saw that it would cost around $40, and I wasn't willing to fork over that much for a controller. So I did some reading up on the issue and some people reported that after they replaced the battery covers, the issues stopped occurring. I had noticed that the battery covers on my controllers were kind of loose, so I decided to give this product a shot since it's pretty cheap. Needless to say, I haven't had the issue since I got the replacements. The battery covers feel pretty much like the old ones, and they stay in place very well. I'm glad I replaced the covers instead of getting a new controller. It saved me a lot of money.

It had been a while since the last time I played with my Xbox 360. When I decided to pick it up again, I couldn’t play with it. The reason is because the batteries inside the battery cover had exploded; the exploded batteries completely messed up the battery cover, so I had to get a new one. After I got the new battery cover, I replaced the old one with the new one. The controller worked once again and I was able to play on my Xbox 360 again.

Took my old Xbox 360 out to play and 2 of the controllers would keep turning off despite new batteries. Bought these in hope that I wouldn’t have to buy new controllers and they worked like a charm. Haven’t had any issues with them since.
