Good seat, but for a sit-in kayak like I have with a molded seat and a molded backrest, the straps made no sense and were all easily removed. The new seat fits nicely against the old one and requires no straps to hold it in place. Once you sit on the seat it stays in place perfectly. I suppose the straps might be useful for a sit-on kayak, but not for the sit-in kayaks, is my opinion. Good product and easily molded to fit your existing seat.

I wasn't too sure about these at first. I had purchased a few similar seats, and had to return them because they didn't fit right, were uncomfortable, or just plain cheap quality.It took a little more effort to mount the anchor points on my canoe, but boy was it worth it. Super comfortable, supportive and allows for full range of motion. So comfortable, I feel I could lean back and take a nap! Compact and easy to remove for transport or clip in at the water. Great value as well, some similar seats are double the cost. Very satisfied and would highly recommend!

Works great so far, comfy, easy to install & remove, looks good. Cons: backrest gets a little warm in hot weather & straps slip out of adjustment. I tied the strap ends, ignored the warmth, only real issue is I need to add a Velcro strip to keep the seat pad from slipping. This is being used on a sit-on-top fishing kayak.

I know this isn't some wild and complicated product, but still these might be the best thing I've ever purchased from Amazon. I bought a two pack & quickly realized after they were delivered I needed another two pack. Both packages arrived before the scheduled delivery date, and I put them to use immediately. By far the quickest value from a product from Amazon ever.They're simple but sturdy, and work like a charm.

i was skeptical after looking at some of the worse reviews on here, but it is very comfortable, was easy to comnect and adjust. The bottom cushion does slide out a bit. I riveted mine to my sit on top kayak, but you could probably get away with some strong watwrproof adhesive and velcro strips to remedy that issue.

I am disappointed in the quality of the ratchet-pulley casing. It’s thin plastic and the screws look cheap holding it together. You’re better off going to Home Depot and seeing the product in person. The rope appears to be good with a tight weave. There are 2 in the package with extra rope and a storage bag.

I love that these are so simple to use. They have made my long kayak hauls so much easier. It ratchets well and releases easily enough. With simple storage bags, I store a pair behind my drivers seat and another behind my passenger seat for easy access to ensure that I use them. I double checked the knot initially and added some super glue to it to insure that it would not come undone. Would highly recommend these.

This seat fits the Lifetime Youth kayak. However, you will have to install a couple braces for the rear supports. The straps are a little long since this is designed for an adult kayak, but not a bid deal. My grandsons enjoyed kayaking with this seat. No more aching back complaints.
