The best superhero book of the 2000s keeps trucking along, offering changes, new challenges and surprises. It's hard to summarize without spoilers but suffice to say Mark must deal with the shocking betrayal from the last book and perhaps his greatest challenge yet... fatherhood. After reviewing 10 'ultimate' volumes it's hard to come up with more superlatives for this series. It is unpredictable, it balances comic book-standards with some realistic plot points and it's willing to let characters go once they have filled their role. It's my favorite superhero book of the 2000s and now the 2010s as well. The best praise I can come up with is that I'm looking to sharply cut my book collection, getting rid of almost half of it. But Invincible will be staying and I'll be buying more. Another sign of how good it is, once I got it I read the whole book in one sitting. Then I took vol 9 down and reread that. I can't think of any other series where I do that. So yeah, buy this, buy the whole series. If you like superheroes you'll love this.

When does Volume 11 go on sale? I cannot believe I have not heard about Hollywood signing the authors to a big deal to make a movie. With the right director(s) and budget it could be as good as MCU... I also believe it would have to be rated R like how Dead Pool was just due to the violence, language and blood. Of course this would easily pass DCU. The story lines from Volume 1 to now are great. Great character building and story plots with twists.

The newest volume is finally here! This one is full of battles, plot twists and one awesome throwdown between Battle Beast and Thragg! Mark and family move off planet to go live on an alien world where they get to meet Oliver's new girlfriend (yikes), experience first hand alien hospitals and we also see the big reveal of what Thragg has been up to these last few months living with that alien bug society. Overall another solid volume with the usual blood, violence and a very personal attack on Mark.

An excellent hardcover of an excellent series.

This chapter of the Invincible saga takes some very unexpected, and at times dark, turns. The series is as incredible as ever and this installment is a must read. If you're this far into it, you know you're going to anyway!

Excellent story, fair price. My favorite comic story of all time (even if it kind of dipped in quality towards the end)
