Buy this original part for your BMW. Do not use aftermarket Camshaft sensors! I purchased an aftermarket version of this sensor and it did not work at all. Then I bought an OEM version of this sensor, supposedly made by the original company, but it lasted about two weeks and then failed and started returning OBD codes. The wires on this OEM version were notably thinner than the original sensor. So, I spent more and bought this original Bosch BMW part. Has been working perfectly for 4 years now. Will always use authentic BMW sensors from now on. Lesson learned.

Working perfectly on my 2007 Mercedes C280 4-matic. Cleared all of my codes, and they have not came back (over 6k miles driven) The old sensor was an absolute pain to get out.

Using only one month of the product is bad for my car the engine light turn on cannot get the car start.

Looks almost the same as the original Bosch/Mercedes branded part that was in my 2005 AMG - but, the tip was cosmetically different. The old one had visible metal - am guessing this one represents a design change over the past 12 years. Regardless, it fit exactly the same and works exactly the same. Came with the oil seal ring. Very pleased with the huge savings over the 'Mercedes' branded version.
