I purchased 10. They have great quality and hold the rails well. However before you install them I would put some Rust-Oleum paint on them to prevent corrosion if you are in an area where you have to use salt in the winter time. Other than that they are great replacements.

Exactly what we were looking for - went to all the home improvement stores in our area - either out-of-stock or didn’t carry - could order but might have taken up to 6 weeks to get to store - only took a few days from Amazon - KUDOS to Amazon!

Good study product, but the set screws are way too short. I had to order longer ones, which worked just fine.

I'm not sure about other developments but ours was built in 1996 and the railing posts are 1 inch wide square. The post flange is for 1 1/4 inch railing. But, no problem. You can go to home depot and get an aluminum angle 1 inch wide and 1/8 inch thick. You will need to cut them to length (I think it is around 2 1/4 inch long and do this for all of how many flanges you need. It makes the posts fit perfect and extremely sturdy. I wish you did not have to do that but there are no other post flanges on the market.

Just get L Bracket and cut it to 6" lenghts. Get self tapping screws and put one on each side of damaged porch support. These make up the 1/4" gap and fix it very well. Nice!!! Hard to get now days and are expensive it seems now. I paid $8 ea for 3 of them....

Sturdy, well-made, exact replacement.

Would be better, if the lag bolts came with the unit!
