I've chosen this affordable mask specifically because of it's ability to take 40mm filters. I'm very impressed with this mask. I want to make a big point that It's very comfortable wear vs military grade gas masks, the mask is very soft and is not claustrophobic inducing at all, it has a very large unobstructed view. Furthermore it's very comfortable for users with larger obese faces, I think this mask would be an excellent choice for people who have the same concern or anxiety about wearing gas masks. It's a -one size fits all- gas mask, even big faces too, so that's a good plus with this mask.It easily takes any 40mm filters, so you can easily make it CBRN capable with specialized 40mm filters, which is a plus. The mask is overall good quality and has perfect airtight seal everytime I wear it. I recommend this gas mask for people looking for an affordable option, you can easily buy multiple units for family or friends for the same price of single more expensive brands.

It's an effective Gas mask with good filters and has proved effective against cleaning agents such as bleach but its straps are prone to snapping near the tabs if you use too much force. Otherwise, it's effective at its intended purpose.

I bought 2 and I can't tell you whether they work or how well they work. I hope if the time comes that I need them that they will filter out harmful matter. They are comfortable and provide a sealed fit to my face.

This mask does well for what it is intended. As carpenter/handyman I’ll break it out when spraying paint/finish in confined spaces (i.e., half baths, etc) or doing concrete work to protect eyes/lungs. It is comfortable, affordable, simply works. Can’t go wrong with it!

I’ve only tried this for only 10 minutes. I found a failure point. There is a bottom type connection that connects to the straps. While trying to put on, two of the 4 connection points popped out. A slight design change would fix this. A hard round connection into a soft round rubber connection is the failure point. See attached images.Who should buy this?Those who wants to buy a cheaper mask to test to see if u can wear a mask for a longer period of time.2023 update - used in a live situation. What a piece of junk. When it hit the fan this was junk. I will NEVER use in a live situation again. Good for a paper weight… maybe.

I purchased this for use while spraying my yard for weeds. Even in early spring with moderate temperatures, it becomes very warm on the face to the point that I have to stop spraying after an hour. Otherwise, does what it is intended to do.

Works and well put together. Not just some pile of junk cheap parts. 5 stars. Comes with extra filters.
