C4 Smart Energy

I like this product for the taste, zero sugar and only a few adders other than the 200mg caffeine. Energy support comes from the caffeine and B3, while B12 will help with brain and nervous system support. B12 really doesn't create energy, unless you have a B12 deficiency and you would know it if you did. The C4 product has reasonable carbonation, is a quality drink and, based on how B3 is in your diet, may create a little niacin flush with a tingle that will pass. And, since there is zero sugar, you get the best of both worlds. Science says we can handle about 400mg of caffeine per day for an average adult.

I have been drinking these ever since I started taking my ultrasound physics course to help with studying and testing and let me tell u... these make me focus and enjoy my learning time a lot more. I am generally a very curious person and love to learn but I also struggle with unmedicated ADHD so coffee has always helped me in the past with waking up and that boost of mental clarity and energy but I needed something more to keep my mind from wandering off and seeking those dopamine rewarding stimulators that would prohibit my studying and the Smart Energy C4 was just the right thing for that! Not only does it give me that perfect energy boost I need from caffeine, it also has a different ingredient than other energy drinks I have tried called Citicoline (in their ingredients it is called Cognizin Citicoline which is just a brand of Citicoline). But here's the cool thing about Citicoline... its a nootropic! Nootropics are a class of drugs that improve brain function. ADHD meds are a type of nootropic but in a different form. Citicoline works to improve brain function and memory and has been studied to even release some sort of dopamine stimulation in the brain. It acts to increase cell membrane stabilization and in re-synthesizing our phospholipids quickly in our mitochondria of our cells. I would look it up if you want to know more but it's so interesting how Citicoline works in our bodies! Anywaysss to diverge from that, I have always had such a pleasant experience with these. I have mood boosts, I am able to focus on one thing at a time, get my work done, recall information 10x better, I am much more curious, and the flavor is sooo tasty. Definitely would say tho, don't drink more than one a day, specially if you have already had a caffeinated drink or are on some sort of medication that speeds up your heart like any other stimulant! I am not a doctor but I am educated enough on this to know you shouldn't do that. But yeah one should do it! I typically don't even finish an entire one in one sitting I usually sip it throughout the day or drink half at a time. It's a wonderful drink that I am glad I found :) Highly recommend if you are a prior gifted kid like me and struggle with burnout or ADHD and know your capabilities but struggle to use them... it has been a real life saver!

I will preface this with saying I do not use these before I work out, because the only time I do is at my extremely active job and if I have caffeine before that, I'll be bouncing off the walls! My poor coworkers have seen me make that mistake a few times. Now!! What I do use this for is a boost during school hours. I have adhd, and until recently it was entirely unmedicated, which meant I had to supplement with anything and everything available so I could function like a regular person. I'd drink these slowly over the course of a few hours, and I found their effects to be really helpful in maintaining equilibrium. Taste- Not nearly as chock full of that artificial sweetener taste as I was expecting. The citric acid really pulls its weight here, and the lack of artificial dyes helps a lot with keeping it crisp and delicious. I was surprised at how good it was. It was still sweet, yes, but not overwhelmingly so. Which is saying a lot, since I'm a person with an easily overwhelmed pallette. Energy- Solid 10/10, even over a long period of time. My blood sugar didn't spike, and I never got up to the level of jittery that haunts me with coffee from time to time, and over a few days of having one, I noticed that my energy in general was higher than it had been before. Keep- I noticed no change in the bottles I had in my fridge for months, and the ones I drank the moment they'd been chilled out of the box. Normally with drinks like these, the sweeteners get unbearably strong after some time, but I didn't have that issue here.

I love mango nectar so this was a dream come true, soooooo yummy and usually energy drinks taste pretty mid to me or too sweet but this was like my favorite ever!!!!!

Taste is fine, but it is a little too syrupy and sweet for my liking. It doesn't feel like it's 200mg if caffeine. I find myself needing another boost shortly after drinking. I'll stick to Celsius and Rockstar after this case.
