3D Black Carbon Fiber Film Twill Weave Vinyl Sheet Roll Wrap - 60" x 72"

I don't really have anything to compare this product with because this was my first time ever trying wraps or decals. The first try was rough due to the learning curve. I simply peeled it off and these pics are of my second attempt with a slightly different approach.I've read some of these reviews and it sounds more like irritation due to lack of skill and less like a flawed product. Let me offer a few tips..It's waterproof and the backing absorbs water. Dampen it. Heat gun shrinks inside corners and stretches outside corners, so feather it with the heat gun while it is hovering.. not after it's stuck down. It is somewhat thin.. so don't stretch it as hard as you can with a fingertip or pull really hard while blowing a heat gun on it.I doubt professionals would do it quite the same, but I did wet it first. It is exactly like tinting a window, but harder. It is not the easiest project to do at all. It takes more than looking at a few pics and deciding you want it. You still have to do it, and it takes the right touch.I give 4 stars, rather than 5, because there are a few brands out there with key features that (after trial and error) I now realize may have offered a significant amount of convenience in comparison.Regardless, I'm sure anyone that has already done this a few times would be perfectly capable of wrapping anything with this product.I will most likely be ordering more since its half the price of competitors and I now have some experience with this particular brand. It's all on the installer. The product itself is sufficiently rugged, does NOT tear or rip without first applying heat.. and it arrived on time in pristine condition.Edit: Decided to try out a more difficult piece. The wrap also does good on vinyl.. both hard and cushioned.

I was weary about the different type of products out there with reviews that were so up and down. I can tell you I found the right buy! This material is very easy to work with and very forgiving as to creases and manipulating the vinyl around curves. Takes very little heat to have it conform to edges and curves. (I would recommend an air drier vs. a heat gun) It is not the type of vinyl that will stick to everything when attempting to apply like your hair, hands or your kids helping BUT will stick to the product you are applying it to once you firmly press it on. If you make a mistake, you can pull it off and fix most any "opps"!I installed this on my interior trim pieces and what a difference and looks like quality installation, for a shade tree kind of guy. Turned out so good, I may finish off some exterior pieces as well!The color was just what I was looking for as well. More of matte finish, but pending how the light hits it. But would have to say more matte than gloss.The customer service was EXCELLENT! The shipment showed up two days sooner than expected! Any and all questions were answered in less than a day's time.I recommend this product!

Arrived fast with prime . The vinyl is very very thin . You do get what you pay for . Im not unhappy with the product for the price. If you want a vinyl wrap thats easy to apply with no bubbles and a high end finish , this is not the product . Im very crafty and good with my hands and i made an absolute mess with this on my car . I have usded it to wrap other things like picture frames and such with great success .

This product was a flop from the time I realized there were tears all around the tape used to hold the roll together. I thought to my self well it has travelled a long way that is understandable. Then while being extremely careful while unrolling noticed those small tears followed down the roll to become about 6 inch long rips in the material. This project had to be done today or postponed a few weeks so I decide what the hell I will give it a shot to try to salvage the roll. I noticed a distinct lack of adhesion which let to many bubbles. Using a squeegee to get the bubbles out those bubbles became folds which became more rips in the material. Through all this is finally got everything looking decent then began to put every thing together only to realize everything that touches this product tears it . For the love of God do not put this on a car it will only end badly I put it on a desk to find computer speakers were heavy enough to rip through this material.

there are a lot of defects in the carbon fiber designs, but it was for an old Honda and it was cheap in price so it was okif I was putting it on my newer car, then I would have been upset

Item was very good.and I liked that it had cutting lines on the back which made it easy to measure.just have to make sure surface is clean when applying

It was a little messier and a lot harder than expected; But if we were better and practiced a couple times it would have worked better. Over all a good product though and i love the effect Looks amazIng.
