Amazingly bold and fantastically wonderful coffee.
This has to be the best coffee I have gotten from a Keurig machine to date. The Swingin' Bold has a strong dark woody aroma when brewed. You can see the natural oils on the surface after brewing, something almost never seen with other K-cups. This coffee has a potent flavor that smacks your pallet around and lets you know you're drinking one heck of a cup-of-Joe. When drinking there is no bitterness to it at all, unlike other dark roast coffee's. Also another note is there is none of the acrid after taste commonly found with many coffee types. Instead you are left with a smooth pleasant taste that makes you want more. It is as close to a espresso type blend as you can get from a Keurig. I brought in a batch of them for my office who are a bunch of coffee snobs who will only drink from their hand ground specialty $25./lb coffee that was made with an Aeropress keeps coming back for more of this. Out of curiosity opened a used capsule up to see what's what with it. We were all amazed with how much coffee that is packed in there. Mad Monkey has packed this absolutely full with what looks like a near espresso grind coffee and is using a totally different filter than the normal K-cups. So the claims that they make about it are true. A couple things to note is with the 2.0 Keurig's unless you have the sensor block in place your coffee maker will pitch a fit about it. Also because there is so much coffee packed in there and the special filter causes it to brew much more slowly so be patient and wait until it is finished or it will bubble grounds up the top puncture point.

really good coffee. Excellent price
Really, really good coffee. Excellent price. I loooove dark, strong coffee. This definitely fits the bill. Very good flavor. I even think that it can be environmentally friendly. The coffee, filter and lid easily separate from the cup, so I recycle the cup. Delicious. I will absolutely buy it again. You can't beat the price, even at Costco. And it is waaay better than the Costco brand of Kcups. UPDATE: After using several times, I did notice that it does have an issue with the flow. I now pop it into the machine, so that it pierces the bottom, then I just pull it out real quick and open up that hole just a tiny bit more. Works fine. Otherwise, it does end up just trickling. No biggie, worth the price!

FINALLY! A decent bold K-cup that doesn't feel like it's got it's hand in your wallet.
5/8/17 UPDATE - WARNING - my wife tried the "Lazy Daylight" and it is NOT Keurig 2.0 compatible! I was going to send it back but she has been peeling them open and dumping the coffee into a set of "Froz-Cup" refillable/reusable cups we have. She likes the blend and since we have a dozen of the Froz-Cups and they're ok in the dishwasher it's no big deal. Without them we'd definitely return the box. Original review: I like REVV and Dark Magic but you just KNOW the Green Mountain name adds a few bucks to the box. Monkey brews a bold cup with good complexity, a nice acid balance - just bright enough - and that coffee twang that a good bold coffee should have without tasting like hot chocolate (strong coffee fans out there know what I mean). My wife adds that it stands up to the cream if you like a dollop in there too; too many coffees turn instantly "white". I really can't find a better bold cup for the price (but I can't stop looking). Like it bold? You've gotta try this. NOTE: I only gave it 4 stars because it does have a minor annoyance. The "non-woven" filter (you can see it - the cup itself is clear) contributes to the great taste, but also contributes a bit of sediment to the bottom of the cup. It's no big deal whatsoever unless you drain your mug without thinking - you'll get a bit of fine coffee "silt" in your mouth, which isn't pleasant. I did it once; I'm careful now and haven't done it again. It's a very small price to pay for the richer flavor that the non-woven filter produces.

Pleasant Surprise!
Just ordered for second time. Like it better than first. It makes a really good cup of coffee. Sometimes I think that it is equal to Starbucks. I was pleasantly surprised. I almost did not purchase because the name Mad Monkey turned me off but I am glad that I took a chance. I love coffee and drink too much. I love a dark, bold, strong and full flavored coffee. The coffee was a really good price and my gift cards covered it so I decided t go with it. This coffee is very good. It reminds me of Starbucks. It satIsfies my coffee desires and needs. I recommend it and will purchase again.

Great coffee, but something is wrong with the cup design
We really liked the flavor and it is a very reasonable price. However, something is wrong with the design. Most of the time, the coffee would barely trickle out of the machine and the cup would only be half full. Two minutes later, there would be water all over our counter. Thinking our Keurig was broken (it is several years old), we would use a different brand and everything worked great. We received another box because we had it on subscription, and Amazon refunded us our money and didnt want the unopened box back. So I took it to work and tried them in our huge commercial size Keurig and they work perfectly in there.

MAD MONKEYYYYYY YES YESSS
I used to be a pretty serious coffee hound, but I can't handle caffeine by the gram anymore. I still need a boost in the morning, but I don't want to feel tweaked out as I work at my desk. I also don't want to spend $53 per K-cup. I tried a different, very popular brand on Amazon, and while the coffee was alright, the fiber-pods were a little messy. Mad Monkey tastes great, is very well-priced, and it's a real K-Cup. My girlfriend is a convert, too -- we start every day with Mad Monkey and now I stock it for our office coffee maker, too. Now we both say, "Do you want Mad Monkey?" instead of just asking about coffee. Mad Monkey's a pretty cool name for a legal stimulant. We're on our fourth order of these and have no plan to deviate or switch to another brand. Mad Monkey is awesome.
