Decided I was in the mood for sunflower patterned dishes and found these. I loved the pattern and that the dinner plates had some black in them which offset the flowers. I love that each piece is a coordinating design and each piece is different than the other pieces in the set. For example, the dinner plates have one design and the snack plates have a different design, but they coordinate with each other.They are thicker dishes than what I thought I was getting. For some reason I thought they were china or porcelain but they are more of a stoneware perhaps. I don't dislike them, but I'm disappointed they are so thick. I had to remove other dishes in my cupboard to make them fit. Also, because they are so thick, I'm afraid they are prone to chipping on the edges, but only time will tell. I washed them in the dishwasher on china setting because I didn't want the finish to crack. I don't know that it definately would, I just have seen dishes similar to these where the glaze has cracked from high temps.The mug is a nice size and it contains a lot more than I usually drink. They are 16 oz mugs vs the usual 10 or 12 oz cups I have.Surprisingly, they arrived in beautiful condition and nothing was broken or chipped.Despite my disappointment in the thickness, I'm very pleased with them.

We are doing a fresh start in a new state. We needed new dinnerware and these are perfect. They are nice heavy pieces and attractive! Have only used a few weeks, but love them.
