Great markers! FAST service!
I ordered these markers 31 July and was expecting a long delay since they were coming from Japan (promised delivery between 23 Aug and 14 Sept.) They were shipped 4 August and I received them today, 9 August! YAY! I didn't want to spend the extra money for Copic Sketch markers until I decide if I am going to be "serious" about this coloring book phase...so the Ciao seemed like a nice alternative. They don't come in as many colors as the Sketch, but the Ciao are great to start out with. They have the same tips as the Sketch and are also refillable. This particular set has a lot of great colors for the florals which I prefer doing over the "patterns." I have a few Sketch markers but had never seen the Ciao 'in person' and wondered what the differences are. The first obvious difference is the shape of the marker itself, the Ciao has a round barrel, the Sketch an oval one. I like the "look" of the Sketch better, but the shape of the Ciao ought to be easy to get used to since most markers are round. The one thing I can see that I do not like about the Ciao, in comparison, is where the color numbers are. On the Sketch, the color numbers are on the end of both caps. The Ciao has it on the body of the marker. I had wanted to get one of the carrying cases for my markers where you can look right down at the top of the marker and see the number...but the Ciao color numbers are going to be covered by the bands that hold the markers. I took a class on the Imagination International Inc website (they are the North American distributor of Copic markers) and it showed how the numbers are important for blending, so it is not as convenient to have the color numbers like they are on the Ciao. I did some 'test strips' of all the markers on my Copic Markers Color Swatch Book and they were all smooth and crisp. I look forward to happy hours of using them!

In my opinion, Copic markers must be the Best Marker in the entire world!
These were what my talented teen artist knew—was that she wanted to get these for her 1 or 2 nice Bday presents I’d buy her for her Birthday! (As a single disabled mom I can only get so many expensive gifts, Esp at Christmas time, & just being honest!) So, I chose this block of Copic colors since she had none to start out with... and as they were literally UTTER PERFECTION in a block! ;) ! It was due to their basic color combinations as well as the added extra beautiful colors that fit in very nicely to the pack!!! I also bought her the skin tone pack too! I must admit these markers (& I’ve used MANY KINDS in my time too!!!, just NONE like these!! NOR As GREAT as These!!), As they layer over themselves better than ANY MARKER OR PEN I HAVE EVERRR SEEN or USED— IN MY ENTIRE LIFE!! It’s nearly like Magic!!! I think...,—that though they were definitely expensive, they are DEFINITELY TOP Quality and well worth it!!! As the saying goes, (& for Once is Very True in this case too!) —You get what you pay for!!! So all in all, we BOTH, were very happy with them!!! Her Most of All!!!

These are special
The recipient was over joyed to receive these markers. They are of top quality and the package contained the colors she wanted and will use. Only an artist can tell the difference between markers since they use them more often than the occasional user. Highly recommend this brand of markers.

The Best Alcohol Markers on the Market!!!
Believe everything great that you hear about these markers because it's just the truth! These markers are AMAZING!!! I am still fairly new to the world of card making and stamping, and I have used Blick Studio brand alcohol markers as well as Spectrum Noirs but nothing compares to copics . I had to buy this set after trying out a mini set from Michaels. I fell in love after trying them. They go on so smooth and blend so well. The brush tip glides on the paper with such ease and it is easy to control. I use a thick 110 lb smooth cardstock paper and copics work really well on them. I also like them on Neenah Solar White cardstock. I picked up the 36 SET B to go along with 36 set A (still in transit because it's shipping from Japan). I figured set B has a great selection of colors , great for experimenting! Since I will be mostly using my markers to color stamped images , these are perfect. It's the entire rainbow! I plan to get set C soon ! I highly recommend Copic Ciaos for beginners! They are exactly like sketch but has less ink and less color selection. They are refillable too so once you buy these markers you never have to again, just refill ur faves. I hope you try them! I love mine! I want to thank the seller Best Source Office Supplies for being so prompt in shipping and delivery! I ordered it on a Monday and received it a day early on Friday instead of Saturday! My markers came absolutely perfect ! Not a crack or scratch, came shrink wrapped and just awesome! So impressed!

After several times of using some markers became completely dry, though copic company promise that it will work at least1 year. I did not use them that much and was very disappointed as they cost a lot and finally, I cannot use some of them. I doubt that they are original copics or probably they were used somehow before...

I purchased these for my daughter who loves to draw manga art - she won't use anything else! Very expensive, but high quality and useful for a variety of techniques. The dual tip means each marker can make two styles of strokes. Now she wants the 72 piece set for more colors. Great for a someone who is serious about their art, but too expensive for just "mucking around".
