Signature Copper High Output Torch

I did not really need a new torch for my kitchen as the one I have is very nice and works perfectly well. I have no regrets that I upgraded to this one. The best feature for me besides the looks is the easy ability to adjust the gas flow and the air mixture. One can go from what looks like a match to what looks like a welding torch. This allows the torch to light a candle or put a perfect crust on crème brûlée. If you like cool kitchen gadgets, I think you will be pleased.

They look great but end up not working a month in. They are $60 for no real reason.

My roommate had one of these and I used it so much I bought one for myself. I was temped to buy a cheaper one but knew i would be disappointed if I did. I use it for grilling and everything else. Easy to use and refill.

There’s no denying it: as butane torches go this is one of the sexiest. The copper body looks great, and if you’re the kind of person who likes to show off in the kitchen you won’t go far wrong here. The beautiful presentation also extends to the packaging. The torch arrives in a sturdy but attractive presentation box that looks good enough to be given as a gift. Opening it feels a little like chef’s Christmas.It’s not perfect, though, and there are one or two details that feel cheap compared to the steep price. The base is plastic, which detracts a little from the whole package. It’s good and thick, to be fair, and it gives the torch a sturdy base, but it’s hardly the most attractive material.The firing mechanism is also plastic, and here I think it matters a little more. This is the only part of the torch that feels a little cheap and fragile, which is a concern because this is the part that controls the gas and flame. The flow regulator feels a little delicate and rattles just a touch in my hand, which is just what I don’t want when I’m firing up a mini flamethrower to melt my cheese.It works, though. Seems to work just fine. It’s just that I’m a little hesitant around open flames and I’d feel a little more comfortable if the control mechanism felt as sturdy as the beautiful body.

Got gas canister at Walmart to fill it. Very easy. This is a powerful torch!

Very elegant build with the copper accents. Little tricky with the safety but overall great flame , and adjustable one
