Another thing I like is how the cap closes shut and opens with a press of a button, this makes drinking with one hand a bit easier.Cleaning: The problem with my old water bottle is that the cap would get dirty and it would be hard to remove the rubber seal that keeps the bottle shut tight. However this isn't the case with owala as it allows you to take out the seal the goes over the mouth piece off easily for cleaning. This just makes cleaning the bottle so much easier than my old one.If you're on the fence, just get it. It’s functional, well-designed, and actually makes staying hydrated more enjoyable.

This water bottle is exactly what I was looking for! It is leap proof. It fits in my standard size cupholder. I like how little pieces of ice come through the mouth piece for the ultimate refreshing experience.Occasionally, the straw component does become dislodge, requiring a manual readjustment by placing it back in the straw holder.The black is sleek, and so far none of the coloring has chipped off after several weeks of daily use. The ice stays for up to 12 hours in the cup for a long lasting cold drink.I have not yet used hot beverages in this unit.

I am always searching for the best items so I don’t end up buying multiple items to for one purpose. And this bottle got tested. First off I need a bottle with a straw, it has the perfect straw, and I want it to be leak proof, guess what it not only closes but locks! I want a handle, the flap that locks and doubles as a handle so when I’m getting out of the car I can just hook my pinky through it and boom, my hands are essentially freed up! Next, I have an irrational fear of bugs crawling down my straw, specifically spiders, it closes off the straw part so no spiders! I needed to take it traveling so I threw it in my backpack and knowing that it would stay shut, and wouldn’t open or leak everywhere was such a peace of mind! It fits in my car cup holders (the biggest win) and it is just the best water bottle! Nonetheless it is super easy to clean! It disassembles in a few easy spots and it’s so easy to clean! It’s double insulated so it keeps cold drinks cold though I will say my hydro flasks will keep things colder longer like I’ll have ice 24+ hours after putting ice in it, though it won’t keep that long, I drink so much water that it doesn’t really matter that much. If you’re thinking about buying one, do it! You won’t need anything else!
