Parrot Airborne Cargo MiniDrone - Travis (Yellow)

Having read some of the previous reviews, let me start by saying I have never flown this outside. Bluetooth range is so limited I do not believe it should be flown outside. Anything can happen once you leave range. Besides, who wants to risk losing their Legos? I purchased this mini drone as an indoor toy.I was pleased that it came with a variety of stickers for customization, but I ended up leaving it plain. I want all of my design to come from Legos. I chose to make a Batcopter for Batgirl as my first project. I was very impressed with the amount of weight it could take and still perform well in flight. It still maintains level flight even though my design is not perfectly balanced. The photo ability is fun. It can still perform all of its stunts and functions with blocks and a figure attached. The flight app allows you to record from your phone and transfer the drone photos to your phone via Bluetooth.I was fortunate to purchase this for $40 with shipping--much better than the $70 price at Target. As a $40 Lego indoor mini drone, I could not be happier with this product. A dream come true.

This drone was purchased for my 7-year-old son. Now that we have it connected to his iPod he flies it easily, but connecting it was a huge issue.After going online I had to spend some quality time looking through the FAQ's to find out what was wrong. We kept getting an error message telling us to update, so we updated the software several times. It wasn't until we dragged the update from the desktop to the drone itself that it finally connected. I had no idea it was the DRONE that needed updated, not the software to fly the drone. It was painful to keep my 7-year-old waiting for it to work, but after several hours we were ready to go. We haven't had any issues with it disconnecting at all.The pictures are a little fuzzy, but I expected that. They are easy to see and download. It does some pretty cool tricks, flies higher than we expected, and I'm impressed with how steady the drone flies. My son loves it and now that it is connected I do too!

Purchased this as a gift for my husband who really wanted a drone. It seemed great at first although it was difficult to figure out the flight app you can download as it keeps wanting you to buy an upgraded app. After only a couple of attempts at flying it, one, and sometimes two, of the propellers became stuck in the on position and would not turn off without removing the battery. As soon as the battery was reattached the propellers came back on, making it impossible to recharge. We returned the drone with no issues but were disappointed as we expected a Parrot drone to be more reliable.

Very fun little quad! My four year old loves it because he can fly it with little instruction, and I have it set up like a normal transmitter is(was the easiest way for him). Now he can be like daddy when I fly bigger quads.

When we had to replace a propeller it kept leaving to one side.

Very disappointed in this item and would not recommend anyone buy this. Day 1, the drone worked fine - we could see flight data and tracking via GPS. Day 2 - the drone uncontrollably flew away (literally hundreds of feet in the air) and GPS did not track its location. Now 5 days later and the APP still does not show any flight or GPS data for our final flight. DON'T WASTE YOUR MONEY ON THIS

Awesome product, perfect to teach kids to learn code

My son loved this for Christmas! Only bad thing was needed to download update on device prior to use- which took a very long time (> 8 hrs). Disappointing for my son on Christmas Day. But he likes it a lot!
